New to forum. Thanks for the add. Love this thread. All 133 pages. GREAT info/pics.

No pics of new ride yet. I gave my 2010 SR5 to my son.

My new truck is stock/boring: 2024 Celestial Silver Limited.

    Planned upgrades:
    Bed Step
    Tint
    Westcott 3/1
17" wheels (Black Rhino Dugger, Black Rhino Rapid, RR6-H or RR7-H). I never knew picking wheels would consume my thoughts!
285/75R17 in TOYO ATIII but 35s not ruled out. I want to make sure I have clearance for chains if needed
Pro Grill with amber marker lights and white light bar
D-Rings in bed for cooler and dog kennel tie downs
OEM bed locking bike rack for the rail

When complete I will post before/after pics.

I think this is the first time I've heard of 35s not rubbing with no level or lift.

I have a 2022 Tundra with the TSS Off-Road Package, stock Black TRD Wheels, I paid extra for the black wheel package so I am interested in keeping them. I want to know what the max size tire is that I can put on the truck with those wheels without rubbing. Toyota doesn't know, so I am looking to you all! Let me know?

With the TRD Lift how many inches to the bottom of your mirror?
I have the limited with factory tires no lift yet.

Anyone running an 18x9 +1 offset?

Hey all, new to the forum. Just picked up a 22 platinum with TRD Off-road package, etc. Looking to add the Westcott designs lift for now, and get some wheels and tires on it. Looking at the Fuel Rincon wheels in a 18x9 +1 offset or possibly-12 offset. With Either 295/70 or 285/75 tires. Anyone running a +1 or similar setup? Looked through the thread for awhile and didn’t see any. Pics would be great! Thanks!

For those of you trying to figure out how big of a tire you can fit
With stock wheels most will be 32” wheel tire combo, stock
If you measure your clearance you will have about 2” clearance left inside and out at full turn, left or right

    So;;;
add 1” - a 33” tire with stock wheel and you will have 1.5” clearance left
Add 2” - a 34” tire with stock wheel and you will have 1” clearance left
Add 3”. - a 35” tire stock wheel and you will have .5” left

As long as your tire is not too wide over 11” you can fit these tires in your Tundra and as long as you are on pavement you should be ok in most cases all the way to 35”
Go wider on the tires and you WILL have to trim

    Next /. Wheels.
Offset plays a major part here.
    Stock is 60mm
Good luck finding a good looking wheel with that offset.
    Methods have some 40mm
But most will be around 20mm

If you change your wheel you must subtract the clearance based on how much your offset is from stock
More negative offset, say 20mm and the most you will fit without issues is 33” tire under 11” wide. Probably will still rub a bit .

I was misguided when purchasing my tires first time around with 20x9 with similar sized tires as you’ve stated with a -18 and they rubbed horribly on the cabin side wheel well. Stock rims are +60 mention in this thread if I’m not mistaken. I’m no expert but if you aren’t seeing anything with a -12 or +1 I don’t think it’s doable on this truck unless the tire diameter is 32” or less. (Based on above experience)

I just put on 275x70/18 on my stock wheels . No lift.
    BFG KO2. So a 33” tire.
    Im still looking for wheels.

Maybe a lift down the road.
But so far Im pretty happy with the 33” and the ride is bit more stiffer, doesn’t feel like Im riding on marshmallows .
Amazing what just a set of tires does to transform it into a truck

I want to get the Fuel Shok wheels, 18x9/ 20mm offset.
Im worried that with the stock height there is going to be rubbing tho not much. That’s a huge departure from the stock 60mm offset . 40mm difference.
    And
The worst thing about that is that the farther you go from stock offset the worse off you are in your scrub radius.
You will be going thru tires like crazy .

Hi everyone . 2023 TRD pro . Stock 18”rims. Stock suspension.
    Will 285/75/18 (34.8 height 11.2 wide)
fit with no rib no trim no problems ?

Or am I safer going with 295/70/18? (34.3 height 11.6 wide)

I have the exact same truck so I’m curious how the ride is now with different tires.

I can definitely feel the weight difference with the new tires. But ride quality is still good.

    Looks like 54 3/4”
Keep in mind this is with the 3” TRD lift and 35” tires.

Thanks for checking. Mine, stock limited with 20" 265/60R20 is 51 13/16.
With the tires I want should be 52 9/16 plus Wescott 3/1. Should be between 55 1/16 to 55 9/16.
    Very helpful. Thank you!!

So can you confirm what the offset is for the 20" TRD wheels? Also, how much poke (if any) do you have with your new KO2 tires? Thx.

Your setup looks really nice! Hard to tell how much poke but I'm guessing ~ 1.5". I suspect that if you went with an offset of 30+ you'd have had more rub?

315/70/17 BF Goodrich KO2 with 17” Method Race Wheels. Westcott Designs 3/1 lift kit Custom “TRD” door puddle lights
Hello everyone. I’m new here. I just got my tundra last month and knew I wanted to get some larger tires than what comes stock. Here is my 2024 Tundra TRD Pro with 315/70/17 BF Goodrich KO2’s and 17” Method Race Wheels 317 at a 0 offset. I’m getting in some red center caps from method and I’m expecting the Westcott designs lift to arrive soon. So far there has been minimal rubbing. I removed the bracket from the wheel well which seems to be all that was needed for this. Full lock barely grazes the front liner. I could move it back but I don’t see the need right now. I think what really helps is the 315 over the 35” tire, it being a KO2 which runs slightly smaller, and the 1” lift the pro comes with.
Hope I can join the tundra gang! I came from owning a 3rd gen Tacoma which I loved, but the tundra fits my needs better. So here I am!
