Hello from Texas! Long-time lurker, finally joining...

Hi Ya'll,

I'm an original owner of a 2014 Tundra Gas Disposal Tool Tundra SR5 with TRD Off-Road package (aka Durable Gas Disposal Tool)

I'm big on lurking around this forum to look at modifications that others do, but I'm too chicken and/or cheap to do any of them myself. Figured I'd at least create an account!

The only "mods" I've done to my 2014 is swapping the exhaust for the OEM TRD Dual Exhaust and adding +1 size tires to the stock wheels.

I've started shopping for, maybe, a 2024 Tundra. It seems like a lot has changed since 2014, mostly for the better. It's still a coinflip on whether I roll into the dealership tomorrow and buy an SR5/Limited TRD OR or whether I drive mine another 100k miles

Thanks for the welcoming messages, ya'll! You must have given me some good vibes... I wound up impulse buying (sorta) a white 2024 TRD Pro last night

First three minor mods already in the works:
1. Spigen matte glass screen cover for the 14" nav
2. Black marathon seat covers (it's a shame to cover the TRD seats, but realistically I know they are going to get abused...)
3. Going to remove the center console safe (I want the space instead). Just trying to figure out how to obtain the short OEM bolts that you remove when installing a safe (that comes with longer bolts). Toyota can't find the part number or specs.....

Next step - storage
(downside of hybrid). I'm trying to decide between:

-Low profile regular old over the rails toolbox (cheap and what I'm used to)
-Bakflip X4S (full bed protection + more usable bed length if you roll it up)
-Diamondback SE (more durable, secure, and waterproof, but $$$ and restricts bed usability for large items)

So yeah... I'm breaking the seal early on these forums.
