Hello everyone. Just got a 2014 1794 tundra for my daughter and was adding her phone to the system but when making a call, you can barely hear the other party talking. Sound is maxed out on the radio and only coming from front driver side. It’s impossible to hear while driving and barely enough to carry a conversation while idling.

Sometimes you have to adjust the volume on the phone as well to get the volume maxed.

The sound for calls is focused on the drivers dash speaker and maybe the center dash speaker? Check with another audio source that those speakers are working properly.

Try a different phone, maybe yours, to see if the problem persists. Then you can pinpoint if it's the truck or if it's her phone. Good place to start.

Same result when you play music from the phone via Bluetooth?

And the system works fine otherwise, like when you have the radio on?

Yes music works fine. YouTube video. Regular radio works. Just phone calls are muted.

If everything else works, including other apps on the phone through bluetooth, it sounds like the actual phone app has an issue, or a compatibility issue of some type.
I'm no expert, but the first things I would try are to disable the bluetooth on both the car radio and the phone, then delete all saved devises on the radio, then turn bluetooth back on and pair the phone again.
If that doesn't work, maybe try updating the software/apps on the radio and phone(?)
