Have been feeling the exact same vibrations. Thought it was tires but they have been balanced, rotated, road force balance, no luck. Toyota says it’s my off-road tires and they can’t replicate it, which is a load of garbage. Taking it to a reputable shop tomorrow for a full inspection but am not optimistic based on other replies here. Very frustrating and seriously considering a new truck if it can’t be solved.

Toyota did nothing for me, wrote it off as a characteristic of the truck and basically closed my case. They said to wait and see if any remedies come out.. that could be years lol. It’s taking them over a year to get keys out, and fix a fuel line issue so I have no faith to keep driving this for 2 years before a potential fix. Has anyone tried an alignment shop to see if that does anything? Maybe the rear end is way off.

    Lots of stuff!
The placement of the rear axle is controlled by the pan hard bar. It does move side to side as the rear suspension goes up and down. It is on an arc. If the rear of the truck is loaded the pan hard bar will move and push the rear axle to the driver side, it is very little movement but it does move. When I put my 1" rear spacers in, I noticed the rear axle shifted over and I could see the drivers side tire sticking out a little bit more. When I put a load on the truck, the axle swings back so it is all good.

So curious if the recall on 2022 models is still having issues after a “fix” it makes me think that the rear end shaking/vibrating is related to the axle. Several people said they tried tires/wheels, and even had a driveshaft replaced with no fix. Wonder if anyone had their axles inspected? Mine is getting so annoying that I’m looking at other trucks lol

I didn't know about the recall on the rear axle, I think there was one on the drive shaft that I heard about. As previously mentioned, mine has heavy offroad tires and a levelling left. All I had done was an alignment after the front kit was put in. I didn't get it checked after the rear spacers were put in. I might if I do anything else to the lift.

Mine is quite smooth all the time and I am coming from a 2019 Honda Ridgeline which was car that looked like a truck!

There is no reason to accept this vibration as normal because it isn't.

Yeah, it was fine for a few months/few thousand miles it drove great. Makes me think maybe something is loose in the rear? I might honestly get back there and see if they are torqued to spec. I found some specs online with the recall.

only other thing I can think of is the alignment is way off in the rear or the axle/suspension is bad.

really frustrating Toyota is not willing to do anything further.

Unfortunately got the same response as Toyota. They said mechanically there’s nothing wrong and whatever I’m feeling is a result of the tires which just isn’t correct, told them I felt the vibration on my stock tires too and still no solution. I think my next step is putting the stock tires back on and taking it to Toyota again. Glad I kept them now.

I’m honestly not messing with it anymore. Just going to trade it in and get something much cheaper. I don’t drive much as it is but when I do it’s so annoying and unenjoyable to drive.

With you on that ...goes the same with any expensive ride. Really enjoy my Pro but if it develops a ton of problems that can't be corrected, it will be time to move on.

Update. Shop foreman asked for me to drop my truck off so he can go over the drive train. He said he found that the transmission mount had 6 bolts that were 1/2 turn from being tight. He loosened them. Realigned the driveshaft. Was hoping that was the issue. Test drive with my trailer today. Still shaking. Very light at 75mph without the trailer. 65mph with the trailer is unbearable. They are calling Toyota Monday. Let y’all know what happens. Truck does not sway when switching lanes. To me if the truck is doing that. A track bar links bushings might be bad or bolts loose. Idk

We got about 5 inches of snow this week so had my first chance to drive in it. Although not entirely uncommon for any vehicles, this truck was very effected by slight amounts of snow inside the rim which caused a pretty intense wheel wobble. I’m not sure what would cause a vehicle to be more susceptible to balance issues than others but I’m thinking this could be the issue.

Have you tried pulling the back seat out? Sometimes the bottom seat rattles

Bumping an old thread, did anyone get anywhere with this? Mine is similar but different. I am feeling a driveline vibration only while under power/accelerating. If I let off the gas and coast I am not feeling it, but while under power it feels slightly like engine knock like a bumpy feeling, but I have ruled out engine knock (since it happens at all different rpm, boost, 93 octane, etc) and now believe it to be something in the driveline/rear end/transmission/hybrid motor. Worse on the interstate, but can still feel it at lower speeds under power.

2012 4wd extended cab. Been dealing with this vibration. Different speeds but a nightmare at 75up, most of the time. Just had shaft redone by drive line in jax.Prior I had gone through 2 bearings and ujoints in the past 1.5 yrs. Now have New OEM bearing, heavy u joints and slip yoke splines cleaned and lubed. Tried aftermarket shaft, it rode a little better but caused start off issue in t case. Guess it Couldn't handle the torque. 2 sets of tires. Only have leveling kit. New rear axle bearings, seals and a passenger side axle. Going to get shaft balanced next week. Should of had done when it was reworked. Toyota service has been NO help with any diagnosis. If have the issue after balance, will take truck to drive line for them to track it down. Think It's something in the rear: Shaft, pinion bearing..who knows. I've definitely thought of tourque converter too. Lol
Also looked at brakes. At one time the driver side caliper was locking up and not applying even pressure. Changed guide bolts and lubed everything. Workin gof rear brakes this weekend to be sure it's all ok, esp the e brake which can cause issues. I'll give feedback.
I did just get my 4wd working. Actuator alignment for 4hi was all it was and I had tried multiple times over 2yrs. Almost bought a new transfer case but at the last minute, got it working.
