Is anyone else out there operating the 3rd Gen Tundra's as a work truck in the field (off road / gravel / dirt roads)? We are experiencing issues with the front bumper and are looking at our options, front spoiler delete module, aftermarketbumper etc..

    Lots of stuff!
Looks like it is falling apart? Did you hit something? The airdam can be removed and deleted CBI has a airdam delete module that should eliminate any code and warning light if you took the whole thing out of there.

No, no impact has been detected (according to telematics data). We think that when the airdam is deployed, if the driver goes over a bump and the air dam is impacted, then it can cause the issue.

Been in touch with CBI already and exploring many options

The air dam is attached to the bumper beam and not the bumper cover. How do you think the air dam is causing the damage to the bumper cover from hitting a bump? The air dam is supposed to give way when it contacts something from what I’ve heard. The mechanism is clutched so it can be pushed out of the way when it hits an object.
