that’s a heck of a lot of cantilever going on! You almost need some sort of cab over ramp.

All the weight is forward. The tunnel and track doesn’t weigh but maybe 70 pounds.

Alcans. You can have them built with the lift and weight that you need.

How do they compare to the Deaver springs? I know the Deavers will run me in the $1100 range plus shipping. Ain’t inflation grand, .

I've never had the Deavers but the Alcans were about the same price.

Just get the ATS "HD" springs I've got (link in sig). Guaranteed 1.75 - 2" rear lift, and one added leaf. Was a couple bucks over $500 shipped to my doorstep.

How do they ride when unloaded? The price point is much better that’s for sure. Do they require any additional parts for the install, looking at their site they list recommended parts and they list a leaf spring hanger kit. Mine lived their life in clean roads so there isnt any cancer.

I mean, I think it's generally frowned upon to re-use U-bolts and you'll need longer ones anyway, so that's something you'll want to add on. I reused my spring seat, and if you've got an OEM wedge you'll probably want to swap that over too. I happened to have long-enough bolts from the shitgarbage Icon 51100 AAL kit I bought and am now selling (minus U-bolts) in the 1st Gen Marketplace for cheap.

Ride? It rides like stock, albeit a touch firmer. I was only rolling with a Bakflip FiberMax installed for weight on it, but recently threw a cap on. I haven't hauled anything other than a ~300lb refrigerator since installing, and it rode great IMHO. I'm an anal-retentive OCD MF'er who'll pick apart anything, too.

I honestly think it's stupid to spend the kind of money Archive, Alcan, Deaver want for their springs. And I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to find out those guys are sourcing their individual leafs from ATS. ATS is the source for a number of others, and this same pack I have was sold under the Dorman name, and at least one other.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy their stuff. Their service was top notch.

You might want to give ATS a shout. Maybe the non-HD version of their springs will net a bit less, closer to 1".

Based on what I've seen from others around here though, it's really, really difficult to pick out the right springs to get a specific lift. We've seen so many people stinkbuggin' on here, and at least one squatting, because some info about the springs were wrong.

Oh - and ATS may be able to toss together a custom pack for you also, and I doubt it'd be that much more, if not less.

I second @shifty` 's recommendation for ATS HD springs. I have them on my 03 and love them. Affordable, great build quality, and even better customer service. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for new springs. Fixed all the sag I was experiencing with a camper shell and sleeping platform in the bed. It didn't cost much more than shifty paid to have them shipped all the way out to me in CA.
