That’s why I had our sales manager let her borrow this one for the weekend. To get it out of her system. Come Monday she’ll realize that it’s no different.

no Mods... has new headlights and some dings on the side... just purchased a dent puller and Bilstein 5100's for it..... absolutely love it in the 2 weeks I've owned it...

LOL the officer with a flashlight 4 minutes into the video looking at the truck.... said Yeah I can fix this... :bananadance:

I have to admit the police officer handle this amazing!!! kudos to him....

He came in and showed his presence and let the assailant try to squeeze him out and he adjusted his position slightly back and let the idiot do his thing (bumper tap)...!! Officer looked to turn into it a touch when the Tundra broke his lane. :101010:

That's Adrenaline. I mean, he could be in horrible shape, don't get me wrong. But guys in peak fitness sound the sane when they're stressed. The fitness or past experience lets them keep functioning.

    Dude couldn't catch his breath.
I'm all pro law enforcement, but they need some serious training to deal with adrenaline. Screaming for the guy to "get out of the F'n truck", you see that all the time. I get that adrenaline happens, but knowing it they aut to be trained to deal with it. Act like a damn Police Officer, not like the villain. Hell, we had training on how to control your emotions when I worked in hotels. If a hotel chain can figure it out, you would think law enforcement could.

It's just a pet peeve. no reason for an officer to be emotional while on duty, MANY reasons for them not to.
Hell, Mario Andretti was never a screaming lunatic when he got out of his car after a race. Talk about pumped full of adrenaline.

    Okay, rant over.

    Well here's a funny thing.

See an ad on C'list for a full-size spare on rim "never used" for my new truck.
The reply info for some reason had the sellers name.
Psycho I am, I do a property search on the name because I want to know where I might be going with cash at night.

Turns out I recognize the houses co-owners name. They're the previous/original owners of my new truck - LOL!
hopefully he's got a folder full of truck history for me.

Edit: Guy called back. Yup his truck. Already tossed the written history, but told me what he remembered (a ton), name of the mechanic he used for the past 5 years. Previous Owner detailed the truck 2x/year. Pulled everything apart, oiled-greased-lubed-changed as needed. Did/had done every service in the service manual.
I missed out on buying the snow tires/rims by a day. Guy picking them up tomorrow - dang. Still I got the history & a full size never used spare. :woot:

not a fan of turning them on before "black friday".
Add lights strung on candy-canes along sidewalk & that wreath you know you need but don't want to climb up there to hang.

I actually have the other wreath but I don’t have the extension ladder. Everything here was done with the 8 foot

Curious why that 2nd cop smashed into the already wrecked Tundra. Seems like cutting off an escape might have been the plan but no good reason for intentional impact, yeah?

I think he was trying to keep them from jumping out the door or trying to drive off. So many times you see them try to drive off after the crash. These kids just pulled a full rabbit.

I get it but seemed like a close call to actually smashing the passenger. Seems like far more risk than reward. Also potential damage to the police vehicle. Vs just parking in a manner which eliminates driving away.

The rear tap seemed well executed by cop #1 though. I guess I shouldn’t expect good road manners in my FGT under similar circumstances.

I don't blame the engineer. I'm sure this meets the requirements of the work order. I do blame the idiots who approved it for production.
"I know, let's have the exhaust make an immediate U-turn after it comes out of the motor, then we'll immediately crush the pipe 50% to merge with the crushed exhaust from the other side of the motor. This way we'll only use one exhaust pipe. This is a smart idea, yes - very smart idea." APPROVED.
Figured out why it always feels like I'm driving into a headwind. Figured out why I'm getting 13-14 MPG (well & my damn right foot). Ignore Woolwax.

I just turned 48 and i’ve been in peak physical condition since i was about i was in the 3rd grade (except for about 6 months last year when i had foot surgery and immobile for about 4~5 months). When i could finally get up and around on crutches, i sounded exactly like Adam Sandler’s Fatty Mcgee character.

My thought is that a man should always be training for whatever job that he has. If his job is a computer tech guy, then keep yourself up to date and trained for the latest technology that you come across. If you’re a barista, then keep yourself trained and up to date on your menu, and where your you get your coffe beans from. If you farm, you keep up to date and train yourself on the latest farming tech. If you’re po-po, then you should be above reproach and keep your fitness (physically and mentally) in check and up to date. But those are my personal thoughts though.

I actually have a very nice used Flowmaster 40 kicking around in my shop. I keep wanting to install it on one of my trucks, but i don’t want to have to listen to it.

I’ve never seen that angle of those ARBs. It’s pretty bad...like really, really, really bad. I wonder how many of those bumpers they would sell if they used that particular pic for their advertisement

Maybe its the winch that sticks it out so far. Or maybe it fits the DC's a little better.
