the toyota TRD ones are also another option: blend of aramid and ceramic.

Ditto on TRDs. Toyota OEM. Usually can't go wrong with that. Check to see if your local dealer has any parts discounts going. Can't hurt to call...

the TRD are pricey though. Around $100 for front or rear.

Call your dealer and tell them you are considering aftermarket. "Let's make a deal"...or maybe Roman????

TRD Air Filters, Front door windows tinted to match the rears. Wheel locks, Talons Garage cat shield, Tyger Automotive soft tonneau cover, WeatherTech floor mats with Tuff Skinz Custom Emblem kit, Toyota OEM Emblem Black Out kit. AVS vent covers on all four doors, Red Tundra letters on front bumper & TRD highlighted in Red on front grille. Tailgate Tundra Letters in Black.
I have always went with Raybestos full ceramic pads and Duralast Rotors. Don't laugh

My good friend is a Toyota mechanic and we have experimented with my past 08 Tundra. I tried StopTech drilled/slotted rotors and they ended up warping just after 30 day warranty.

The Duralast Golds had a lifetime warranty and the Raybestos pads lasted a long time plus virtually no brake dust.

I got the pads through Rockauto. I believe they are called ceramic hybrids

    Hope this helped.

Just installed the PowerStop Z36 Truck and Tow carbon ceramic pads on their drilled and slotted rotors last week. Night and day difference compared to oem. I've almost had to relearn my braking as I was stopping way shorter than I was used to. Got front and rear pads for a little over 100 on prime

I ended up getting the Posi Quiet Ceramic Brake Pads on autoanything. They have great reviews from what I can tell. I will report after they are installed with the power tech slotted rotors

I installed a complete set of rotors and pads, Powerstop Z23 drilled and slotted on my Durango a few weeks ago. Agree with boardude, they are great brakes. Plus they look cool. Would put them on my Tundra when time.

My next brake change/upgrade is going to be Hawk pads, DBA 4000 discs...maybe by year's end.

I have the Akebono ceramic pads. They grip fine and produce low dust.
