Sold my Tesla, bought a Tundra

My last two vehicles were a Model X and a Model Y.

I sold my Model X to get the Model Y because I wanted a performance model. My wife and I then got pregnant with our second child almost immediately, and the Model Y started to feel quite small once our daughter was born.

I had a Cybertruck reservation for years now that I just canceled. I soured on the design, but I mostly just grew to despise Elon more and more, and didn’t want anyone associating me with that guy.

As a previous Tacoma owner, I naturally circled back to the Tundra. It only took one test drive and one day of thinking before bringing home this beauty. She’s a 2024 Limited iForce Hybrid. In love so far.

My parents refuse to give up their Cybertruck vaporware, I worry they'll be too old to drive it by the time it shows up. You made the right choice, and the best color scheme I feel!

Should have kept the CT reservation. Those can be good money! I bet you miss some of the fun with the Teslas though. :burnrubber:
    Congrats on the truck!

Great choice! Tundra’s are great family vehicles. We just welcomed our third kid and I think I will be able to fit all three across the second row.

Congrats on the new Tundra and welcome from the North East! Just recently visited Louisiana for a conference, everyone was so friendly there, it was a nice change from up here where most people are not!

Don’t get me wrong; I love the space of my crewmax, but I vastly prefer our LX (any 3-row vehicle, really) for longer trips. Now that my kids are all out of carseats, having them all side by side in the backseat of the truck on long trips is…less than ideal. Putting one in the 3rd row of the LX makes everybody much happier.

There are a few families at our kids’ school who bought 3-row Model Ys. They love them and have no regrets.
