    First race of 2024 didn’t end as planned. After a great Friday getting the boat dialed in on three test runs, we got it a little too dialed and broke parts in the driveline that weren’t up to the task. We will be back at it April 19-21 at BlueWater in Parker, AZ.

    Round 2 - Sam had his first ever perfect reaction time - .000 start then ran a 6.023 on a 6.00 dial - 23 thousandths from a perfect pass. Other driver dialed a 6.80 and ran a 6.84 - on to the final round.

    Final round - the light got us. Went red by .046 we won the race on the big end but leaving early cost us the championship.

    Sadly we learned shortly after completing our race tragedy struck the drag boat community - fellow Cole flat bottom driver Kyle Cannon lost his life in a crash at Bakersfield. Kyle was a great guy and fierce competitor - he will be deeply missed.
