I went the easiest route, a topper. Keep them in the bed. No way am I having two big(~70-80lbs) messy dogs in the cab. Never had and never will. To each his own however. Nice work.

    Very nice.

What did you do for prep before applying surface shield?

It was from a company called Auto Custom Carpets, Inc. and I was told this was scanned from the existing carpet. The front looked so much different I could not figure out why they were so different. After looking at laying them on top of one another (89 degree temps helped) it appeared the material the the correct size but it looks like they maybe put the material in the machine 180 out :notsure:

When I cut the 2 in half it was apparent to me that is what happened because the edges at the doors was not quite correct but with cutting them in 2 pieces it was easier to work with.

I think a day or 2 in the sun with the windows rolled up and it will relax just fine.

I am looking at a platform to cover the bottom with some lids to store things under. Thanks though because I was looking at all of that last night. I had to establish points of the new material that were formed so putting holes in for the hardware to hold while installing was key

Thanks. How did you remove the AVS Branding/Logo? Or did yours not come with the white lettering?

One thing I did "NOT DO" today was make a purchase from Goose Gear. I hear all these things about how good the company is and when I asked if I could get an extra door added it was

    Tony
Thank you for your interest in Goose Gear products!
Here are the two 2nd row seat delete products we make for your Tundra - We make a 40% Passenger side plus a 60% Driver side - You may install one side, the other side, or one of each for a full 100% 2nd row delete. https://www.goose-gear.com/collecti...-crew-max-second-row-seat-delete-plate-system
What would it cost to have the lower piece to have the ability to access he areas that are now available for storage?
We only offer one hatch style located above where passenger feet would have been in the lower floor area.

Twice I contacted them and the answer was the same both times. I am not a woodworker but after getting shut down twice I am having a hard time with spending $2,040 plus shipping. It is like I asked to have to totally different design done, it is a door

Washed the truck Saturday (damn aphids are pooping all over it) & today I picked up new oil filters, wiper blades, and diff/xfer case crush washers. Will probably do an oil change over Thanksgiving break and then the diffs over Christmas break when I'm closer to 30k on the odo.

    PXL_20231104_174621185.jpg

I used the griots ceramic spray as a drying agent again (followed by a light buffing to remove any over spray). For a very small amount of added time, I really like the end result.

I was looking to hardwire a Viofo 129 Pro Plus into my 2015 1794 with fuse taps, unfortunately I tried BK/UP LP for constant and S/Roof for ACC but that just drained the battery instantly and scared me shitless for a few minutes. Gonna have to try something else!
