I purchased a new set of rims + tires for my Tundra, and the vendor installed and programmed the tpms before they shipped the combo to me.

As per they said, I just simply put the new-built combo on and my truck would pick up the signal.

But now, after tens of miles driving, the tire pressure light is still on, and there's no message to set it up either.

    Any solution?

The brand of TPMS is Max,

    Thanks

Vehicle setting in the gauge cluster find TPMS and learn sensors keep doing this till it works. I just had this happen to me with my winter set.

Keep driving. Take a while for it to learn.

I’ll take a pic when I’m at home but it’s just through the steering wheel controls you scroll through the menu.

Look at your manual under TPMS.

Hey I tried the method <engine on - door closed - reset tpms on the dash - drive> but the low pressure light is still on.

May I know how many times you repeated the process before you got it done?

    thanks

I just kept on doing it every time I got in the truck until it didn’t come on. It was lots like 10 times over the weekend, that’s with the OEM tpms I put into my winter set. I dont know what it dose to work but I’ve done that with both sets of wheels and it worked for me.

It isn't just learning the codes, it is also learning wheel position. There is no need to go through the process over and over, that will actually take longer. You just need to drive. It has taken as little as 20 minutes and up to an hour for me for it to detect each sensor and wheel position when I have changed tire sets on other newer Toyotas.

It is actually an awesome feature that avoids buying a Tire programmer/Techstream/Carista or going to a dealer or tire shop to have sensors added.
