That’s around when(165k) mine needed sprucing up. Got Bilsteins 5100 which worked great. When I’d haul anything remotely heavy my leaf springs looked like what you described. Ended up getting new leaf springs but regretted not trying add a leaf first. Seems to be enough to strengthen our old leafs.

Ordered a couple of parts from eboy (Wreck-It Ralph, anyone?) to keep working on the Sequoia center console I swapped into my truck this summer, basically to mimic the DC center console: a color-matched storage cubby thing to replace the useless rear climate controls (paid $22 for it), and these new foam things for the front and rear cupholders ($30 seems really steep, but them I watched a video of someone handmaking these for a Tacoma or something and thought, welp who's got time for that!).

Last couple of items to do will be something to do with phone holding/charging (maybe one of the cupholder solutions), or maybe holding/charging one of those OBDII tools, or maybe putting USB charging in a couple of the blanks, idk. Would like to 3D print a blank to replace the Sequoia's side mirror controls. Haven't seen anything aftermarket that fits there.

Edit: offer in prior post still stands, if anyone needs that oak center console/trim, shoot me a message.

My fronts, the cracking plastic sleeve, also had same and with less than half your mileage. Dunno.

Yeah scary part for me yesterday while greasing driveline was, directly below the passenger coil over area, I found a ~1cm long stainless countersunk machine thread screw. No clue what it goes to. I need to give the coilovers a good once-over this morning before making my 90min round trip drive on the interstate. I suspect it’s from somewhere on the Toytec Aluma Bosses, but I can’t imagine where something that small would go. But it was brand new looking, and there’s literally nothing OEM on the front of the truck that uses that style of fastener which is suspect. LINK TO PICS.

I may just lose all my marbles lol I’ll be heading out to Dallas in December to inspect a big class A RV and thinking my family and i are going out on the road in january for a year or two. If that happens it might not make sense to hold onto it. But really not sure yet. A lot of moving pieces to figure out between now and then.

Is this a local PU only or a shipped reman? I may try just to have one on hand for drivers side. I don't really wanna reboot again if i don't have to. I'll eat half the price of the boot kit and save some time and mess.

Put in some new ceramic Toyota pads. Looks like they upgraded the surface area over the first generation ceramic ones.

Yeah, I figure if nothing else, I can always get this vinyl-wrapped, or resprayed in the ballpark of $350-550. And given I had $400 cash in my hands from the guy in AL who bought my OEM 5-spokes, and this guy wanted $400, I won't lie, it seemed a little too coincidental that it wasn't meant to be.

The one thing I was worried about, visibility, I'm actually not disappointed with. I really thought I'd be blind as a bat, but I can see pretty clearly what's behind me in traffic. And backing out is great as long as you use all three mirrors and the backup cam. I'll be taking it slow the first few weeks.

I got a chance to clean the windows and take an account of things. Found a crack on one of the front corners, but it looks inconsequential. The dude tried to tell me he'd never been able to open the side windows because they're power windows?! That definitely wasn't true. And I'm pretty sure the cab-side window is installed backwards. I'm probably gonna need to remove all the windows to properly clean the damn things. But will see where a wheel brush and some Simple Green get me tomorrow afternoon

Exterior paint is basically mint, and perfectly paint matched to the metallic silver seen on the later-model trucks like @NUDRAT is driving. But the truck he's got and is selling with the blown rear end is the color of @NickB_01TRD and/or @KNABORES

I dunno who carpeted this thing. The roof is very nicely done. The rest looks a lil bit DIY, especially at corners. Carpet is pretty musty, gonna need a full brush and vacuum, if I don't mask up, I'll probably land a sinus infection. I'm tempted to rip it out and redo, but that requires effort and time, two things I haven't either of. It did have a power port (needs a feed), and the power port was hiding the factory badge showing it's a Leer 100R model. Haven't found the high-mount brake light wiring yet.

@FirstGenVol you'll be happy to know, it's damn near impossible for the cap to rub the bedsides, at least on my '06. Maybe different on the earlier years, based on how it sat on the '00-'02 he's selling, which, btw, is running awesome, and moves in 4WD, but the rear isn't budging on its own. Not sure what grenaded. It's not an LSD rear. Very, very nice truck with lots of options and zero frame rust though. Probably an easy fix for someone.

    Crack....

    upload_2023-11-5_19-38-49.png
Rando power port that was taped down (I pulled it out, don't think I'll use it later). I also notice it has the little bump-outs for the custom clamps? But it didn't seem like the two ears were drilled. Weird. I'm curious about that.

    upload_2023-11-5_19-39-28.png
In case anyone is looking for this style, it looks like the 100R model number for the Access Cab is "100R-65TUN". I've seen ARE and LEER use "TY" for Toyota in the part number and they always use "TUN" in it also. I assume "65TUN" in this case is Tundra 6'5" bed so I wonder if there's a "100R-63TUN" for the double cabs? Most ARE/Leer/Leonard had a similar serial plate/badge to this, all had a serial number, only some had a model number. I may start hunting windows/parts sheets for this bastard since they still carry the series. Wonder if parts are interchangeable between different make/model parts? I have to think they would be? They couldn't afford to make a different window config for every make!

    upload_2023-11-5_19-44-10.png
Oh, and I hit a milestone on my way out to get it. Tag @abcinv

    upload_2023-11-5_19-47-22.png

Did a little under-drop-in-liner inspection. Clean up to the cab, although this may come out sooner than later now the cap is here.

    upload_2023-11-5_19-48-41.png

Pic of it installed correctly and windows cleaned... hey the cap matches the side trim. Maybe I should've kept the gunmetal wheels and it'd all just ... flow! (j/k)

Yeah if they had affordable backup cameras back in 2002, I would’ve picked up a cap new from Leer for $900. Unfortunately back in the day, your only option were those stick on fisheye lenses you could stick on the rear window. My brother had one with his cap on his T100 and I hated it myself.

Nice score. That crack looks minor. I have one worse than that and it hasn't gotten any worse in the years I've owned it.

What's up with the windows? The previous owner thought they were power windows? Don't they slide?

Yeah, totally manual, basically the screens have a plastic clip at the center of the window. You pull the clip back, and slide the window by hand. The window screens are caked with orange dust (clay, I assume, given where we both live).

I haven't figured out how to work the cab-side slider. It has two interior locks, but it's weird, the handle/lip for the center window seems to be on the outside? I may need an owners manual. But what I read online seems to indicate the Leer 100R came with a fixed, non-sliding window standard.
