There’s a joint in town called Bumsteads, probably one of the top 5 burger places in town, their burgers and sandwiches are huge!!!!! Tons of variety, but she makes theses weird cinnamon brinded pickles that are terrible!!!!!! If she spent as much time of these things as she did on a good tasting pickle, she would be number 1 in my book.
I even get the half sandwich and it’s too big to fit in your mouth, it’s kinda annoying, but good bang for the buck.

 

People need to stop with this shit

 

Gross. Then it just tastes like pickles. Ruins everything else.

Or breakfast. Cinnamon toast is awesome.

They are super strange, the 5 of us that usually go, none of us like them. Look up their menu, it’s very expansive. It used to be a sweet spot on “4th ave” but some shifty stuff happened and now they are out of a like hotel diner kinda situation; supposedly the hotel basically covers all her overhead, for doing meals, and the burger joint is all income. Super nice lady that runs it, sweety, darling kinda lady. Hahah

 

I think my mom puts it in her spaghetti sauce……

 

What you do in your own home is your business and do whatever melts your butter, but that is incorrect.

 

She was a home ec teacher for like 30 years, so I trust her, well I don’t but I do with that.
My sister was vegan for a while, and I knew something was up! These tacos got me one night, so I always had to ask, is this real meat? Clearly I’m traumatized

 

There are certain foods you can experiment with, be cute with, try new things with, etc.
But you don't fuk with the sauce.

I've found myself in NYC this weekend and I've hit an entirely new level of love for food. I've learned my mom's sauce is trash.

 

Probably not, just OG chocolate chip oatmeal.
But you guys probably don’t know real cinnamon.
My sister, traveled like a hippy to South America and worked on a farm, she harvest cinnamon bark or whatever, it was the most interesting flavor ever!!!

 

My grandmother was off the boat Polish and I grew up on the westside which was predominantly Italian. Everything I cook is old-school.
When I met my wife, she thought chicken soup was hot water with a few carrots floating in it and chili was basically ground beef, kidney beans and ketchup.
Half of her recipes have been replaced with mine. I still haven't made homemade sauce yet because it's an all day thing. She loves Chef's jarred sauce, which is good, but it's half sugar and why everyone is addicted to it.

 

That's awesome, though I do miss the days when they actually looked like real cars/trucks. Grave Digger is the last of that era, I think.
