I ran 295/70r18 on my stock trd off road. No issues. I assume the sr5 would be the same.

Anyone running 295/70/18 Mickey Thompson Baja ATs on their TRD Pro? Currently on my stock rim and tires. Really wanting size 295, Toyos Open Country AT3 are out of stock for a while (Here in Canada and the cost to get them from US is very expensive) But the Baja ATs have peaked my interest and a fair price. Wondering if they will fit fine on the TRD Pro.

How are you liking the 1.75" spacer? What brand did you use, and would you recommend it? I'm thinking about doing the same but have heard mixed reviews

There's a few people with stock non-Pro's running 295/70/18. But here is a Pro and Plat on them.

I have no problem with the spacer. I had one on my previous truck also for 126k miles with no issues. All it does is give a better stance and a bit more ground clearance. It does not change the ride, contrary to what you might hear from people who repeat hearsay.
I have the 1.75" Rough Country. It was a perfect level with no more than 1/8" difference between front and back.
I drive around on land development construction sites every day and it works fine.

One more thing. What did you pay for the install? In not really comfortable doing it myself. Parts are cheap enough

I only found these wheels with a +20 offset (Tire Rack). Where did you buy?

Your truck looks amazing. Do you get much mud, etc. slinging up behind the wheels?

I don't remember. Maybe $300ish. It is not difficult to install, but a bit tedious.
You also have to get an alignment done; whatever that cost. I think about $70.

Haven't driven it much in nasty weather but the truck is ceramic coated (System X) so most of the light mud/dirt doesn't stick.

That looks great. I’m getting those same wheels installed tomorrow and I’m planning on getting those same tires due to the ability to go 275/70/18 in an SL instead of E. Have you been happy with the tires and do they perform well on wet roads? Thanks.

Well enough, I live in Fairbanks, Alaska so we don’t see a whole lot of rain to give you a real solid opinion. I’ve never lost control on rainy surfaces. They do great in snow / rock / dirt and acceptable on ice.

Big Upgrade over the factory SR5 wheels. I picked up the Vision Turbine 18x9 +18 offset wheels at DT.
With my 275 70 18 BFG K02's it rides so smooth. No rubbing and just a bit of Poke.

Even I have Sr5 wheels 265 70 R18 and i went to talk to one of the tire shop here to get 18 inch wheel and 275 70 18 Cooper but the the person working there said if you are investing in wheel why not go to 20 inch wheel and install 265 50R20 tires so u can add lift later when u want or add bigger tires....Your set up of 275 70 R18 looks good to me.

Just had SL rated 275/65R20 Nitto Recon Grapplers installed. Hybrid “full electric” mode is definitely not able to keep up as well as it did with stock tires, unsurprisingly, but I’ll have to see how general efficiency goes. They definitely look more correct than the stock tires though.

Just swapped the sad looking factory tires with some 35x12.5x20 Nitto Ridge Grappler. Slight rubbing at full lock but I think some spacers should take care of that. Or I’ll find away to tuck back the plastic piece that it’s ripping on just a bit.

Is anyone running a 33”X12.5x20? Seems like most want a taller tire but I just want to go wider and try to stay at stock height.

Put new tires on, 275/65/20 Cooper AT3, changed the chrome lug nuts to black, rides helluva allot better, have the TRD OR kit installed.

Funny how a simple tire change changes the overall look of these trucks.
    Looks good man!

    Finally pulled the plug...from.stock 275/70R18 to 275/55R20.
I still have option to go for 33 inch 12 ply radial tires but because of weight I didn't choose that.

Replaced my 2nd Gen Tundra a week and a half ago with a 2024 Platinum in Lunar Rock. Ordered a set of Bronze Method 703's 17-8.5 +35 offset that came in today and had BFG KO2's 35/12.5 put on this afternoon. Wheels and tires fit great with no rubbing or cutting. Dobinson 2" front 1" back lift also came in today however won't be able to install until later this week or next. Diamondback SE Cover is on order. Going from stock wheels and tires made a huge difference. Looking forward to the lift.
