Yep...and it helps LEO's do their job. I'm not a criminal, so I'm not worried. I generally support LEOs (not saying you don't...we're just conversing here) and am good with letting them pull stolen cars over and getting criminals off the street. Every single major local crime I read about involves a stolen car (typically a Kia...surprised?). And honestly, I support parking tickets cuz you should see the attitudes around Seattle. The entitlements are epic around here. There's no way I could go into any city and find parking if they were not enforced. I just want them to enforce the parking laws for RVs...

 

Here in MA. no front plate and you cant get an inspection sticker. They actually take pics of your plates that go into their secret Commie files.

I'd have the 'Violation of the Week'.... I'd pick an obscure violation (one in the traffic code and one in the criminal code), and it would be on

Imagine being a tweaker, riding around on a bike at 0300, while carrying a black trash bag full of your personal belongings and getting stopped for

Unlawful Conveyance of Garbage; subsequent records check reveals warrants, thus justifying a custodial arrest and impounding of said

'conveyance (the bike)'; search of person incident to arrest reveals loaded pistol and an 8-ball; prior felony conviction means no pew pew for you,

so I contact my local ATF dude and he takes the case charging the tweaker w/federal offenses (plus an additional 5 years per round found in the weapon and within said tweaker's possession)....

...all over a trash bag

I'd do the same thing as a supervisor, and keep track of VoW stats for my guys; winner gets 1/2 shift off w/pay at the end of the week!!!



...but of course it's all about 'educating the public' and 'community awareness' and things like that

 

This is what kills me about everyone wanting and begging for more 'connectivity' and such... Every aspect of that technology is going to screw you on your first felony
