Hey guys I’ve been searching for a rear axle for my DC and finally found a clean one from a clean truck no rust at a salvage yard but the truck also has heated seats which my truck doesn’t have and the leather is in good shape. Mine is a limited with leather but no heated seats I was wondering if the trucks are already pre wired and would it be a plug and play if I grabbed the seats and switches? Also the center console has power outlet inverter for the rear would I be able to retro fit that as well?

There are a couple of threads on it. But I can't find the one that shows where the factory tee would be in the center console.

    https://www.tundras.com/threads/switching-from-manual-seats-to-electric.122000/

Disregard, maybe this is what you need:

    https://www.tundras.com/threads/04-...witches-w-katzkin-leather.63131/#post-1740902

But someone explicitly posted pictures of the center console on here. I'm 100% positive. And it showed the connectors, I believe.

    Here's some added pinout info:

I remember that too. feel like it was a Sequia swap

EDIT: I'm tired of looking. I can't find it. I feel like it was about the same time @TX-TRD1stGEN made the bracket for his console.

I mean technically it’s the same exact console I could take the whole thing I guess and it has the heated seats switches already in it. My truck is 4wd with the unique vsc system and this truck is the exact model so I might pick some parts for the future since I know everything should be compatible with mine

It's all about whether or not your truck has the proper harness with a tee that delivers into the console for the switches.

Wait - it might be in the link I gave above, I just didn't realize it was 3 pages deep. This is the mental image I had in my head: https://www.tundras.com/threads/04-...s-w-katzkin-leather.63131/page-2#post-2166666

Looks like the wire bundle may actually be down the passenger side, which makes sense, I feel like the switches are on that side also.

and this post wsa helpful to identify the connectors also: https://www.tundras.com/threads/04-...s-w-katzkin-leather.63131/page-2#post-2390346

Cool I’ll have to check it out if mine is pre wired I’ll probably snag the seats and switches

I'd assume that Toyota made everything interchangeable. And if a few wires are missing, it's not much more work to add them yourself.
If the trucks are essentially the same, I'd grab everything you can before they scrap it or someone else scavenges it.
Whatever you don't end up using, I'm sure you can sell or pay it forward down the road.

That’s what I’m planning of doing I got the rear axle that I needed since mine was all rusty and also the rear crossmember and hitch that looks in perfect shape. The truck was in a front end collision so everything from the front doors back is still in good shape including the interior

If you have a limited, I’m 95% everything is prewired including the inverter. I’d snag everything you want from the donor truck and swap it - including switches, harnesses as deep as you can, seats, etc. Sweet score, that’s a rare opportunity/find!

Do you have two blanks in your center console? If so, pop one out. You should see a connector under it.

my brother added aftermarket pads to his 2005 DC after discovering the connectors when installing his aftermarket stereo this spring. He’s in heaven now. If you have the full seats, you’re way farther along.
