I'm interested in a set of dark colored (read: non-tan) double cab carpet mats too. I have an XSP according to the build sheet, but dont have any of the original stuff anymore other than the fenders. PM me if my VIN would be helpful in your search. And please let me know if you find a source for NOS carpet mats! I'd prefer regular Tundra mats. If they're really unobtainable anywhere, I'll probably order a set of Lloyd's.

    Bumping and old thread here....

My XSP fender flares (one piece fronts) have started to peel and bubble in the clear coat from the FL sun. I met a local guy with a nice FGT who works at a paint shop and it going to respray them for me. Problem is, I want to replace the rubber strip/pad between the flare and the body but can't seem to locate such a part. Does anyone have part numbers or a source for all 4 fender flare pads for an XSP?

In the meantime I ordered some generic trim and will post my impressions in case someone comes across this in the future looking for the same.

    Thanks!

XSP is sort of a regionally “made up package” port from Gulf States if memory serves. Other than badges, I’m not aware of any body changes. Are the XSP flares actually different? I can’t imagine Gulf States produced a separate rubber seal for their package, or create a different flare for their package. You sure the OEM (I think OEM had a grey p/n and a black p/n) won’t work?

Edit: Looks like it was SouthEaster Toyota, not Gulf States. But w/e. It was mostly a feature update, with cosmetic changes (badges, seat covers, electronic updates nobody wanted).

Yeah, it was a port package from SET based on an SR5 without fender flares. Some had the XSP-specific leather and floor mats. Some had the darker tone of wood grain. Most had the XSP wheels. On all examples I’ve seen, the front flares are one piece, as opposed to the normal 2 piece design. I’m sure I can make some generic adhesive padding work, was just curious if any of the resident FGT experts on this wonderful forum (such as yourself) had cultivated specific p/n or info over the years. I’ll post up how it goes with the generic trim pad if I go that route. Plan to get the flares prepped and painted next week.

Here are some recent pics of my flares:

Interesting. I’m not sure if I like that or not. But it does provide an interesting design aesthetic.

I did some reading around. It sounds like there is a warehouse with parts in JAX. And the SET parts are all off-book, not in the official catalogs, they keep the part numbers internal. I found some names of people to contact as little as 2-3 years ago, via Google, for people who were told “this VIN is not for an XSP”. I also found someone who indicated proper XSP have a “second VIN” on a decal somewhere that is what you need to offer up to get replacement parts if someone tells you your VIN isn’t an XSP VIN.

Just to add on to this XSP VIN lock but the Nightshade edition Toyota parts are also VIN locked.

I took the fender flares off and to my surprise there are no clips or holes in the body as other factory-flared trucks have. I also was fortunate to have some part numbers and codes still intact. The fender flare pad is very generic, not like OEM I’ve used in other Toyotas, so I think I’ll be fine with the moulding I got off scAmazon.

    Bump!

My truck is also an X-SP, though little evidence of that remains - traded the wheels for Limited Wheels, removed the decorative skid plate, and de-badged/really just never re-badged after having the entire truck repainted.

With that said, I have a couple of tears in my leather - one seat bottom and one arm rest - and am looking for options, but first I have no idea if the X-SP trucks utilized factory Toyota Leather seats and just embroidered the headrest or is the entire upholstery different? Anyone know?

If it's original Toyota, I'd also need to determine if mine are "gray" or "tan" - which is astonishingly hard for me to identify between.

Totally the same seat. Different skin.

Oh sorry, I knew the seats were the same but was curious if the leather skin itself was OEM Toyota leather (just with the embroidery added) or some regionally sourced leather that SET used to make the X-SP packages. In other words if I go to Richmond auto upholstery and ordered a "2005-2006 Tundra armrest cover, driver side, gray (or possibly tan)" would it match, or is mine neither of those because it isn't the same that came from Toyota?

I may just need to call them up and see if they offer sample swatches.
