    Lots of stuff!
Apart from the Tonneau cover and fuel line, what were the other recalls?

I am wondering which ones I missed with my 2022.

Recalls are better than not recalling for an issue. GM for example actively dodges recalls and at best hides behind TSBs with limited visibility to the general ownership community. My last Ram has the delaminated control knob recall whose official fix was 2 years of extra warranty and then good luck to you. So if OEM is recalling and fixing issues it could always be far worse

I think there has been at least 3 threads about this. Which one is the original?

OP, this has been a known issue for over 3 months. So far, there has not been one documented fire that I'm aware of. Someone posted a pic of a Gen 3 on fire on FB (I. think), but the cause of the fire wasn't mentioned.

My point is, there are close to 200,000 Gen 3 Tundras on the road, and not a single confirmed fire from this "potential" problem. I'm not worried about it at all.

Why? The original needs some emojis?

I recall one for rear axle/hub bolts that needed proper torquing. Recall vs TSB? Not sure.

Kind of wonder what the benefit is of putting the information on the app three months before sending out the notices.

Are you counting all the recalls that happened after production that caused our trucks to sit at the port for months? Mine was an April build date. Didn't get it until July.

The in the mail notices are arriving this week so that's why people are sparked up again.

The irony. They're required by law to send them out even though they're not planning on fixing any trucks any time soon.

The temporary fix is nothing more than wrapping the cables. Not sure how hard it is to buy that. What's more, Toyota has known about the problem since August and hasn't fixed a single truck with the problem. You can't tell me they're working quickly to resolve it when they've had my truck since August.

I understand the permanent fix is coming sometime in 2024.

Yup. Must be missing information. All I have is buyers remorse and a minivan in my driveway from Enterprise.

I do. This is what I find funny. Spent $71k on a truck and my options are the minivan or the powder keg.

I had my truck in for service last week and asked about this recall. They didn't have the fix or the parts yet, said it'd probably be in November sometime and they'd let me know when it came in. I took my truck home. I'm not worried enough to park the truck at the dealer and fight over a rental.

I told the dealer if it catches fire, they owe me a truck. The service manager laughed and told me he'll put my name in small print next to every MGM crew max that comes in just in case. :D

Just curious does Toyota give out loaner vehicles while in the shop for warranty or recall work?

    Got my notice today.
Opened it up, glanced at it, said "Lord Jesus, it's a fire!" out loud, and promptly threw it in the trash.

    Carry on.

I've been waiting and looking for my truck to be included in this recall, but it has never showed up. I believe my build date was June 2023 so I wonder if they changed something by then? On a related note, I have not had any of the other issues people complain about like the fuel gauge issue, wind buffeting, etc???
