Sorry if this is a beat to death issue. I’ve searched and found some answers, but not directly what I’m looking for.
For the Trd pro guys that are running bfg 35/12.5/18 on factory rims and suspension how do you like them now after running them for awhile?
That size is only in load range E?
I know mud flap removal is a must correct?
How bad of a hit was it to mileage?

That's a 34.5" tire and weighs 30lbs more per corner with stock wheels.
Expect a harsher ride and a 2-3 mpg hit.
You will also be slower in braking, acceleration and handling.
You will rub on full lock as well as turning in reverse.
    You'll have to remove flaps.

    Does removing flaps eliminate rubbing?

It should but it's noted that every Tundra is built a little different meaning some may or may not run after. Clearance will be closely maxed out.

Mine only rubbed at full lock while backing up out of a driveway. I just trimmed my mud flaps a bit. No more rubbing. Not sure about hit to my gas mileage because I put them on when the truck only had 100 miles on it.

So once you trimmed the mud flaps no more rubbing backing out at full lock?

Yes. I trimmed the piece in the back that protrudes out. That’s where it was rubbing.

Mine don’t rub at all. I get compliments all the time.

I needed to pin back front flaps, using a zip tie as they barely rubbed. No issues since
