I’ve seen a lot of you guys swap the TRD Pro, Heritage grille(B) onto your trucks but I’m just curious what everyone thinks of the TRD OF, Sport grille(A)? I have a SR5 and I’m leaning more towards the OF, Sport grille over the Heritage. So who has swapped over to the Sport, OF or prefer it over the Pro grille?

I would black out the emblem too.

That’s the same one my SR5 has now. Not a fan of it. What did you swap to?

Do what you like better. Who cares what people think. Most will say the pro grille. I did the pro grille for the light bar.

I appreciate that but I was just curious. I am leaning towards the OF, Sport and then add a hidden light bar between the fog lights. When I first got the truck, I was planning on swapping all the TRD Pro trim but decided against that and just swap the grille.

Just an fyi, the stealth bar will throw less usable light. Besides being recessed and light being blocked, it’ll be lower and light up closer to the truck, which is less effective.

I like the look of the pro grille and went with it. I’ll only listen to the opinions of someone if they pay for my auto insurance. The people with opinions about the pro grill typically drive a car owned by the bank.

Thanks dude. I had a feeling it would be less effective but I’m looking at a spot light bar and figured the angle would change with a lift kit.. I am looking at the Rigid square pod Ditch lights too.

Kinda seems to be only2024_toyota_sequoia-pic-1842942094436264289-1024x768 (1).jpg one choice and it should have been there from the start.

    Lots of stuff!
I took my TRD OR grille off and put a Heritage grille on. I haven't installed a light bar but might in the future. I would go with the grille light bar rather than the bumper mounted light bar, but that's just my preference.

I like the big letters over the big chrome logo and the running lights are nice, I also have the TRD Pro fender flares with the lights in them too.

And it’s 100% true. The majority of people who crap on others are in not in the financial position to judge. This applies to life in general.

For clarification, I have nothing against financing a car etc.. I have something against people judging others vehicle choices, ie putting a pro grill on an sr5 etc.. my point was - if you are going to go around judging others car choices, you should have your finances completely in order.

My question wasn’t about crapping on the TRD Pro grille. It seems to be the more popular choice when swapping and I wanted to see if anyone chose the OF, Sport. I like both and haven’t decided which to buy.

My post wasn’t directed towards you- it was directed to the die hard pro fans/owners that say pro grills only belong on pros.

You keep calling it an "OF, Sport" grille? Why? Do you mean OR/Sport?

I realize that and stand by what I said. NEVER should the 3rd Gen. Tundra have come with its embarrassment of a grill when it could have had what the Sequoia got. I mean the grill on the Sequoia is definitely not great but between the two, one is 10pm kinda cute while the other is 2:30am the bar is closing fugly.

You need to read the BST rules. You can get banned for trying to sell without meeting requirements, FYI.

Sorry had no idea, you mean the 50 posts and 30 day requirement? I thought that was in order to start a new B/S/T post, still figuring things out here

    That'd be the rules, yes.
To sell stuff it generally needs to be a BST thread, so the ban you could catch would be for circumventing the BST rules. No worries. Just giving you a heads up.
