So I'm at 65k miles and beside the squeaking brakes has been great! They look to have about 1/4 left so I'll be changing them soon. At what milage did you change your brakes?

Also, what's good oem replacement brakes?

    Thanks!

Doing a full change with rotors or just change pads and check slides(clean and lubricate)?

So I usually just pad swap on the first change but I was on my way out for a 5k mile road trip with the family in the car and the new rotors were in the range of a 100 each so I just replaced them as well. The slides were in great shape so a little lube and they were good.

Now I will say that Toyota recommends replacement of the rotors with the pads.

Yeah if the rotors are still true then they should be good. I rather just change it all myself. (rotors and pads)
Going with oem Toyota or doing the aftermarket route? Centric and a few others do make rotors. (rockauto search)

I used the oem parts. No reason to change it out if it worked perfectly well.

As a rule (and I’m expecting the same for the tundra) when I do fronts the first is a pad swap, then pads/rotors.

rears I’ve never needed to do them at the first pad swap, but I usually do a rear pad swap @the second front pad/rotor.

I clean and lubricate the slides twice a year, spring and fall when I swapping out winter tires
