Ride is a bit rougher with the 10-ply tire. Very quiet on the highway though. I have no rubbing during during my normal course of travel in forward or reverse. I did have a slight rub in the rear when the suspension was flexed traveling over some unmaintained service roads.

After a lot of back and forth, finally got new wheels and tires. Went with Alphaequipt Grenade (because of offset being close to what I was looking for) and Toyos (275×70R18).

Loving the new Falkens. Smooth and quiet and clean out well in the SD (pheasant opener) mud.

Heated water through a pressure washer. They will look like new. I've driven work trucks through 100's of miles of mud per day and that has always done the trick.

I have some by the chemical guys I believe but I'll verify in a bit when I can get to the bottle. I'm not a professional detailer but have done the research and you want a water based product. . Dries quicker and doesn't sling off. I'll send a pic when I can. It's definitely good stuff.

Thanks! I ordered hub rings but found out that, unfortunately, it was either center cap or hub ring -- because of how the cap connects. If it gives me grief, I'll sacrifice the aesthetic

My setup for truck/wheels and tires is the same as you and I just ordered rokblokz. I had them on my 2005 Tacoma and they helped a lot. These stock mud flaps don’t offer much body protection. Also ordered the Romik running boards that are height adjustable, which will allow me to keep them tight to the rockers for added paint protection from mud/rocks. I can see your side steps helped protect the lower portions of your truck as well.

Yes any water based one will do the trick! Oil based makes for messes and ruined wheel rags.

Tires are FINALLY balanced.... IT TOOK 4 F**** times !

    1) came from custom offsets - vibrations at 60-70 but not crazy
2)went to local shop with road force balancer - vibrations still there
3)went to Toyota shop got an alignment and road force balancer - Tires got MUCH more quieter but Vibrations worse than before.
4)went to local 4*4 shop, they found that toyota was off by 8oz's !! on some wheels...they balanced all tires- Vibrations are pretty down to zero...

Lesson learned : It's the technician not the equipment. right ladies ;)

    Toyo ATIII 285/70/18

(had to remove front mud flaps and trim some fabric.. they are around a 34" tire)

I’d love to see those when installed. Please post pics. These mud flaps don’t cut it. I do have the Bora 1.25” spacer so they poke a bit.

Subiedepot had them for the cheapest price in Canada with free shipping. Left in my cart for a couple days and received a 5% off code so I pulled the trigger. I just washed my truck and have 2 chips in the bed side above the clear protective tape in front of the rear wheels.

10-15 business days to get to Ontario then however long to get to me here in NS

For anyone that went from OEM to 275/65R20, did you notice much degradation in ride quality? The 265/60 OEM is a passenger tire, but anything larger takes you to an LT. It is a stiffer sidewall, but curious as to real world observations on the Tundra.

There is definitely a difference. Along with the stiffer sidewall, you run LT tires at higher pressure than P rated tires, so it is a compound effect.
But, even though it is a harsher ride, it is not worse than expected (it would be ignorant to go LT and not expect a difference) and not anything that would be unbearable.
The looks and the better grip makes up for the harsher ride, for me at least.

What a difference 35s make on the truck. Factory wheels looked tiny in the wheel well.

    Thanks.
275/65R20. (34") That's one size up on width and one size up on sidewall from the OEM 265/60R20. I think it makes a huge difference in the looks of the truck.

Light and narrow if you want MPG, also less aggressive tread designs will help.

I want the Toyo AT3 to come out in a 35x11x17 (no 11.5 here) in a C sidewall- would be the perfect tire

Anyone gone from 18’s to 20’s? Looking at some used 20” TRD take-offs. Like the look of them but wondering if I’d regret 20’s.

    I don’t off-road, just normal driving and towing a 28’ travel trailer.

Thanks! No, it’s not stock. Dobinson’s IMS 3/2 suspension. The wheels have +25 offset.

You will notice a slightly firmer ride, but nothing crazy. I swapped an old f150 from OEM 18s to OEM 20s and had no regrets. I was only highway driving and towing my boat at the time.

The change in ride quality is MUCH less than the change from a SL tire to an E range.

how is this combination? i dont want to do any lift.

    Lots of stuff!
Those will be smaller than the OE size of 265/60/R20. The XL tire will be heavier than the OE tires so you might see your mpg's go down.

Not sure what your style is and what look you are going for, but 265/50R20 is smaller than OEM; it will be a big wheel(rim) with low profile sidewall.
Most people on here go for more sidewall than OEM.
I have 20" wheels and installed 275/65R20 tires (up from 265/60R20 OEM) and I think it looks good. It fills the wheel wells a bit better than OEM.

    Current 275/65R20
    upload_2023-10-31_14-39-26.png

These are OEM 265/60R20. You can see the sidewall difference compared to the above. If you go with the 50 sidewalls it will be less than these, and overall smaller wheel. Just my opinion, but I don't think it will look good if the wheels are even smaller than OEM.
