Came back from China on Sunday. Today did oil change and rotate before my trip to Canada this weekend with the truck.

That's what mine looked like after 4,000 kms (2,500 miles). How many miles on this oil?

Did you notice if it had a strong smell of fuel?

5006 miles to be exact. Didn’t notice a strong fuel smell. This is its 5th oil change though. o_O

Stock, with a few cosmetic mods.
I’m looking at one of these locally on Craigslist. Would you recommend this shield? Sturdy enough and sufficient coverage? I understand it doesn’t protect the rear cars. Thanks

I'm going to change mine at 5k. I get a free oil change from Toyota for 4 years, however, they will only do it very 10k miles and I just can't push myself to wait 10k miles before its first oil change.

Added the "old man" bed step. I realized getting in and out of this truck because it's a little taller than my Tacoma that I could make use of the bed step.

I’m just over 20k miles on the truck. Had truck since Feb 2022. Jan 2022 build. Oil change done at 500 mile and every 5k miles after. I meant 5,000 mile as in how many miles since last oil change. So oil is 5,000 mile not the truck.

I know not everyone likes them but I installed the black OEM letters to the tailgate. I really like the contrast it adds and its Toyota OEM quality so I am happy. I also installed a new license plate frame and got the OEM hitch cover. Next on the list, cat covers, C4 rockslides and XM4 bed. cover.

Thank you! I am obsessed with Terra. The Toyota build site doesn't do the color justice. I got through detailing her (named her Sedona) on Saturday and can't wait to wash her this weekend. I have a couple of better picture on the instagram I created for Sedona (lol).

What Have I done to my Tundra today? Well.... I took it out onto the logging roads for deer hunting, only to discover the OEM tires are unsafe in the mud. They're great on concrete & asphalt (wet or dry). But in mud I was sliding all over darn the road. On my old truck I has some BFGoodrich All-Terrain TA's. They worked very well no matter where I went. So I guess it's another $950 to go into tires. (I suppose the OEM's will be fine if I slow to a crawl.)

I have the tuxmats (phantom @ Costco). Surprised, you got a bed mat as I was told they were back ordered. How many fobs did you get?

Haha 1 fob ,,they are back ordered,, however I had already ordered the side steps and bed mat and good deflector for the limited that I was supposed to get ,, so it was sitting in parts already ,, they just gave me that one instead

Agree! It’s well documented that the stock tires are crap (especially in mud). I moved to the BFG A/T KO2’s and love them. We had 6” of rain at my ranch and I almost got stuck yesterday, but BFGs did the job. The stock Yoko’s would have been like ice skates.

Toyota (in Texas at least) is doing buy 3 tires get 4th for $1. I did research and it actually saved me around $600 vs DiscountTire. Got the tires and alignment for around $1600 from my dealer.
