    I had a 2007 that I eventually went built bottom end + big(ger) turbo with. Ran a GTX3076R.

On 91 octane at 4k ft elevation I dyno'd 448whp, I forget how much torque. 33% e85 I never ran on the dyno but I'd conservatively estimate another +25whp.

Oh nice man! Probably remember the good old days of the Mazdaspeed forums then! I just running bolted, self tuned with the Cobb accessport and the BNR S4 on 30% Eth. It's not the fastest car on the road but it boogies pretty damn good to this day.

Does anyone know the difference between the Magnuson flex fuel and non flex fuel kits? From my understanding the flex fuel kit does not require the fuel pump. I see now the kits for both do have the new injectors. Are they the same injectors on both kits. I assume tuning is also different. Any insight on this would be appreciated. Thank you!

You are correct they both come with 535cc injectors. I believe they have you reuse the o-rings and seals from your old ones. I believe it was said that tuning is proprietary to Magnuson although through HPT. Hopefully someone with a flex and later tuned will chime in. Good luck!

Thank you for information! I received the non flex fuel kit. I was told that Magnuson confirm this kit works fine with FFV. Confirmed injectors, HP RTD tuner. Incorrect installation manual, although I have all documentation downloaded to laptop. I will be reaching out to Magnuson Monday to confirm.

The only difference is one has a fuel pump and one doesn't. It would hurt to contact and ask if their tune does anything for alcohol content for the flex side of it. I don't think so but safe to ask.

I have great power on my '13 Sequoia with flex, there were some hurdles & other mods needed to make it work.

Are the tunes different? Did you have to deal with the hi/lo pressure regulators? Guess @ARES35 will need some info.

I bypassed the switching valve, had to "splice" the extra fuel line & there was something else I am blanking on.

    Day 2.5 update :D

    PXL_20231022_022904230.jpg

I honestly thought it'd be done today, if this was a stock truck it would've been no doubt. Tons of little things like the intercooler pump goes where the power steering cooler has been rerouted so had to make brackets for that, had to make a bracket to hold an AC line because the fender wells are missing, the Prospeed "catch can" mount is derpy as all hell so modified that, built an intake and welded it together, all those little things that take an hour each. But the fuel cell is done and hooked up, the last big thing is install the AFR gauge and sensor and then tweak on the catch can to secure it more and add a bracket to the air intake to support it, maybe build a box for it if I'm feeling froggy.

Oh and I punctured the A/C condenser while I was making the new power steering cooler mounts :annoyed: so now I get to buy and install one of those. Thats a reminder why I shouldn't work on other people's stuff.

Between the A/C condenser and the fuel cell doesn't have a hose on the filler, the truck is going to get left here and dude will come back with the filler neck stuff in a week or two and then I have time to fix the A/C and wrap up the remaining stuff.

Guess when there is no fender you aren't concerned with engine heating up your intake air. Nice setup and fabbing! Shit happens and you've probably done more than you planned to. He'll love it when it's done and tuned.

I noticed this pattern in another log from yesterday and it made me think of a square wave. I've noticed it in a couple of others logs as well, and interestingly, under similar conditions; those being not long after settling into a cruise state. In my case, Cruise Control was set, but I wouldn't be surprised if that fact was irrelevant as long as the conditions were "stable" enough for the ECU to implement the "check". I played the log in that area and noticed that the ECU altered between commanding 1.036 and 0.966, a difference of 0.070 precisely, before returning to 1.0. This appears to fit @PolishedTRD's hypothesis. If others notice the same behavior in their logs, it would seem to me that it can probably be considered a normal function.

Funny you should bring this up as I just stumbled on this video where The Car Care Nut describes a similar - if not the same - event. Vid should start at about the point where he describes testing, then @8:58 is where I think your situation applies:

    install new boost gauge wiring
front, center & rear diff oil change (ravenol)

Teq Auto Solutions (toyota master mech) will do it.

I just can't find the time. we got SUPER busy at work.

then.....then...I can sit back and wait for y'all to come up with more shit for me to do to this truck.

    I'm still a pondering Tech12volt sound system.

    Too many mods to come

Same random things I needed to mod due to the bumper and LT. It looks right at home there. Custom airbox with a flat filter might be the at to go rather thank a bulkier box with a big cone but curious on what you come up with for that. We’ve got a few ideas being done onto the old man’s rig since he will also have no wheel well

for a hot second I really thought that was going on the Mazda! lol. Scrolled back up to see the Tundy in the background.

Here's how my project is going. Interior out for detailing. Quarter panel spot welds mostly out. Pulled a few support panels out. Parts should run me around $1200 OEM. Calling junkyards this week for a lift gate

Looks like that would be the way to go since the RCF would be a restriction.

3.5" to 4" reducers are easy to find if you are using the 102 on the Maggie 2650.

Wondering if the 5.7L TRD/magnuson fuel pump and injectors would still be plug n play on the 4.7L 2UZ-FE platform...

The s/c kits I'm looking at recommend upgrading those components, but don't come with nor give any suggestions on which ones/brands to use

Imagine the restriction of the stock Tundra TB, and that's most likely the one that anyone who has installed, or is a pending install, has used to date. I didn't know if there was anyone over on Boosted Tundras that had experimented. I won't Facebook, so I'm not able to check for myself.
