My wife apparently thinks that the root cause of all the current issues with the economy is a couple friends of hers spending $200 on a birthday cake for their 4 year old. So you're probably going to have to give up your "greatest financial advisor" title to her.

I suppose it could have climbed in while I was picking up my trailer or dropping it off at the storage lot. But that doesn't explain how I got one in the Corolla glovebox around the same time. More likely that it's the bastards living under my front step that the neighbourhood cats are apparently too inept to catch.

I'm rarely on a computer and almost never turn my phone sideways when forum-ing

 

So does your house go nuts for Halloween? We have orange lights for the house (like Christmas lights) and a few outside decorations, but nothing crazy. My stuff is starting to fail and I’m having a hard time wanting to replace it.

The market for Halloween decorations has gone nuts and the prices match. Guess I will go shop the discounts in November.

Neighbours in the cul de sac behind us go crazy. Seems like we're the only ones on our street with lights even on so we don't get many kids. Therefore, I don't have much interest in putting much effort into decorating but our daughter has a few favourites she likes to put up.

I’m a bad humbug in general. I live too far out in the sticks to decorate outside, and don’t entertain often enough to decorate inside. So we don’t waste the time or money
