What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Installed Havoc HS2 steps, Extang Trifecta 2.0 Tonneau, and Weathertech deflector

 

Installed Bilstein 6112's @ 1.9" setting yesterday, aligned today. 5160's in rear, ride is excellent.

 

Do you have more pics of the brackets and how they bolt on to the frame and slider. I'm trying to install the exact same ones on my 2015 tundra cm and can't figure out the installation manual for the life of me.

 

Do those skids fit well with OEM front skid (assuming you still have that one on)? Or are they not connected/overlapped somehow? I'm probably not asking this right.

 

Why'd you get a new battery? Just cause?

 

U cant have any tint up front? Or was it too dark?

 

mine was too dark. I had them match the rears. About 18-20% I think.
For NYS, 70% is the darkest (which is essentially factory. I think the guy said most windows come from manufacturers with 78-85% as "un-tinted glass")

There are places around that will inspect it with the tint but charge you a decent amount more...

As far as I know, the RCI plate dovetailed with the OEM engine skid plate. Because the RCI plate weighs about 75 lbs, and a hydraulic Jack is needed, I could not install it myself, and I took it to my mechanic. They reported no issues, so I assume installation was easy. When things don't go well, I do hear about it! Like when -we- installed the BakFlip tonneau cover. Not as easy as it is portrayed on YouTube etc. Took two of us over an hour. And even though I was paying them, they still groused.

 

Got a stubby, AntennaMastsRus. After installing 6112's stock antenna scraped garage door frame.

 

Washed it with my new foam cannon!

 

I did the same yesterday..gotta love those foam cannons

Happy with the results? I haven't researched these much, but a touchless carwash never gets the main grunge layer off... Always looks better of course, but no where near a good hand wash. Does the foam cannon actually get a good deep clean? Very interested if so! Thanks!

This wasn't exactly the ultimate test, truck was pretty clean before, but I am definitely satisfied with the results thus far!!

 

Might not be as cool as Tundra 34's supercharger but I am pretty excited about what came in the mail today!

 

Bought the truck used in Feb 2017. Rim center caps looking a little worn. Got these off Amazon for $22 each. Now just gotta get stateside to put em on.

 

I'll get the tint back on for $60. I'm sure there are "know-a-guy's" that will take a $50 to look the other way. But I'm not from here, and it wasn't worth spending a bunch of time looking around for "a guy."
I tried 2 places. First one gave me the tough guy routine... "you're asking the wrong questions..." so I just took it off and got the inspection and I'll go back this week to get tinted up again.
