Need advice dealing with insurance (hail damage).

My Tundra got hit by hail on Sep 24 took it to IntelliDent in Plano on Sep 29 and they got me in a 1500 rental. I called IntelliDent today and asked if the truck is being worked on and the guy said nope we are in the process of having an adjustor look at it from Statefarm because they keep wanting pictures instead of coming in to look at in person. He also told I won't be liable for the delays caused by SF lengthening my time under a rental. Then I called SF and the lady told me I will be liable for any amount above my cap limit. Who do I believe? I know IntelliDent is trustworthy since they fix up Toyota HQ cars but Statefarm idk since they still haven't paid for a claim in the past where I got rear ended. I rented through IntelliDent which is why SF lady told me I'd have to pay for the rental. Does anyone have experience dealing with this kinda stuff?

TLDR: Truck got hail damage it's been in the shop for 21 days and no progress has been made on the repair due to idk who. I don't wanna pay the extra rental cost caused by finger pointing just want my truck back at this point.

MX4 cover didn't stand a chance against the hail lol might go diamond back now. I'm surprised the sunroof didn't get obliterated but I see a weird dip relative to the top surfaces of the glass does anyone else have this? Hood, both Front Fenders, and Roof have hail damage hard to see the depth over a photo but definitely makes me sad.

This 1500 is pretty impressive brakes not so good but powertrain is fun and smooth. Also only one rattle but I think I like Tundra's suspension more and the cameras lol. Idk the hp/torque specs but I feel the Tundra gives you way more low end torque but once the 5.7L gets to 3k rpms it pulls hard and sounds angry at WOT.

 

You believe State Farm, because they are the ones paying(in theory).

Did you not contact State Farm first before you took it to IntelliDent?

 

I opened a claim with Statefarm before going to Intellident and I told Statefarm that I will be taking my truck there.
