True, true. The situation with the back window sucks, but the fact it's paint matched already, paint is actually in good shape, and it has roof rails installed, and is carpeted ... that's a solid find. And yeah, if I could find the same in white over here, that jank would be marked sold already

If you have a change of heart, I removed the link from your text I quoted, if you removed your link, I wouldn't think you were crazy!

I can assure you this, if the listing were in DFW, you would not be reading about it here today. Instead, you'd read about it later in the "what have you do to your first gen today"

But all that to say, white in access cab is not impossible locally. One less than 30 minutes away right now, but with the vent-only windows, which is a no-go at that price. I'd probably bite if it had sliding windows. Maybe interesting for any other white AC owners around ATL?

That's a nice topper at a fair price. Bummer about the windows.

Yup, I can grab it for you if you want ;)

If I'm going to be sleeping back there, in the southeast, A small vent window isn't going to cut it. And I don't want to cut a roof. Windoors or sliders are my bare minimum.

No I'm happy with my topper. It's got character. The problem with opening windows too much is that you'll get eaten alive by skeeters. I typically don't go camping in summer so I've never had an issue being too hot with the windows closed. My topper has a front sliding window I'll open.

You don't have screens on your side sliders?

I just looked at that cap again. It looks like the rear windoor has been replaced to me, also. The flare at the bottom 4" or so doesn't line up right with the cap.

My topper doesn't have sliders. They are windoors on the side. In the front it does have a sliding window which matches the rear slider on my trucks cab.

Weird, I thought you had one slider, one windoor.

Is it not possible to do screens on the windoors?

You're thinking of the passenger side where previous owner broke the glass and replaced it with metal. It still functions the same though.

Anything is possible. Some toppers do come that way. The windoor/slider combo is great.

I have small middle screens in my windoors on the FGT. If I ever go flatbed I’ll for sure get that shell to someone here.

I saw that one. Picture quality sucks so bad is part of the problem. And the hacked back window trim. Who knows though, maybe it's mint otherwise.

I second weird. I have seen @FirstGenVol's shell before and thought it was the same as mine, just white, but guess not. Mine has the slider on the window closest to the cab, a slider on either side window, and the "windoor" you speak of. When I was camping in Utah during the summery months I had every windowscreen open with the tailgate windoor popped open too when sleeping at night. I recall the low being 86 degrees, and god help me if those windows couldn't open because I was on the verge of turning into a puddle.

If I am ever looking to get rid of my shell, I'll make notice here first :D

$1200 though. Ouch. These will come along, especially in white, for sub $600.

Honestly ... If it checks all the boxes and is in mint shape, I'd pay it. Especially if it already is carpeted and has roof rails. Reality is, a camper store will be asking 2x-3x that.

But I'll be damned if I didn't try to talk 'em down 20-30% off their ask :D

@NickB_01TRD Doesn't this match your Tundra, and maybe fit it too? 77" is 6'5", so maybe it's for a DC. I can't think, its too late right now. It's over in L-ville and the price is solid.

I'm not sure on dimensions off hand, and I also don't see which one you're talking about. The one from @KNABORES won't show up when I follow the link if that's the one.

I think I found it actually. Looks like Thunder Grey. I like my high rise as ugly as it is. Does someone want this? Could probably work something out if it's still available early next week.
