I think its more that at the time you order your bumper you can get lucky and be at the back of a small que, or you can be like the 100th bumper they need to make. I'm pretty confident my bumper got made in probably less than a work week but of course there were folks who placed orders before me. I'm pretty stoked to get it on my truck soon!

I've been to Weatherford before. You're not too far from Bridgeport OHV, and Gilmer is about 2.5 hours east of you.

O that’s not bad. I’m trying to buy a wench but it maybe not in the budget with this bumper

Yours looks like the C4 bumper, is that right? I just got mine powder coated and have yet to install it. I have to wait on a winch as well.

That's good to know. Warn makes good winches. I also need lights. I'm guessing the stock ones won't fit?

I got mine powder coated at Crosslink in Cedar Hill, which I know is even farther away for you. I paid $300, which is admittedly high, but it's fairly close to me, and I didn't feel like driving further away. I'm bummed I chipped it while trying to unload it.

Yah mine is 400 which is a rip off but I can drop
It off before work and pick it up if I drive into Fort Worth it’s like an hour and 15 to my house I would have to take the day off.

I definitely suggest some of you try out or consider Rustoleum spray on bedliner. Its cheap, goes on easily, and is pretty durable. Most people think my bumper is powdercoated. Mine still looks great after a year and half of abuse. Touch ups are easy too. I did my whole bumper for like $50 in self etching primer and paint. Powdercoating doesn't seem worth it. Its expensive, not very durable, and difficult to touch up.

Finally got it back from the coating. What a joke this clown went over a week and added on 160 bucks from his estimate next time rattle can. Test fitting lights let the fun begin

Great thread here. I plan to read all 32 pages over the next month, chipping away at it.

In the meantime, can anyone recommend a front bumper that is similar to the stock Ford Raptor bumper? Always loved that stock Rapter front bumper. Don’t need a winch or light bar in the bumper, or huge tow hooks.[IMG]

Nothing like that out there. The bumpers you see here are mostly "plate bumpers". But if you find one I'm sure many here would be interested to know.

Got this for $280 off eBay. It was well built and easy to assemble.

Finally installed my C4 Overland today. Easy install with the help of my brother-in-law. Not the best pics, and I know the truck is dirty, but I hope to take better pics in the future. Next up is a winch and lights.

Dumb question, and something I hadn't thought about til now, but those of you with no winch yet, what are you using to attach the front license plate to your C4 bumpers? Right now I have mine attached with long zip ties. C4 sells its Hawse license plate mount, but it's a bit pricey.

    https://c4fabrication.com/collections/accessories/products/hawse-license-plate-mount-1

Anyone running any other fairlead/mounting bracket options to attach the front license plate?

Just discovered the bullbar on my C4 gets in the way of removing the front grill. Fortunately, I didn’t have to remove the bumper. I just loosened the bolts enough for the bumper to move forward about 1/4” to 1/2” or so for enough clearance to remove the grill. It’s possible this is unique only to my Tundra. I don’t know. But thought I’d mention it for others when deciding which bumper to go with. I will say that despite this, I’m still real pleased with my C4 and would get it again even if I had known this beforehand.

The bullbar on my Victory Blitz makes it a tight squeeze to get the grille on and off but its doable. I think its part of the nature of the beast.
