I really need some help everyone, please, if anyone has answers.

Please forgive me, I am SO ANGRY right now I can't even see or think straight.
I have not really had any food today and been working all day and stressed out.
I also had to cancel my going out to dinner and grocery plans and am eating a gd tv dinner......

I did something really stupid to the love of my life, my Tundra.

This afternoon I was trying to install a review mirror power tap wire for a Viofo A119 v3 dashcam.

I already had a tap in there for my Escort radar detector that worked fine, but is a different plug (RJ)

I inserted the new wire tap into the same wires as the radar detector wires, no power to the cam.
Then I reserved the wires after reading a review online about how one guys was reversed from the manufacturer (Amazon wiring from dongar)
    Still nothing.

Gave up and sent the wire back for a refund.

Then I went to use my radar detector later this afternoon/evening after work and its not getting power.
I thought in my earlier work I might have put the tap wires in the wrong pins as I had taken them out at one point messing with the other tap for the dashcam.
So I reversed them like an idiot.
(I am praying I did not fry my brand new $600 radar detector.)

But no luck, no power to radar detector.

So I plugged the mirror wire back into the rearview mirror, and now the mirror has no power!
Ok so I blew a fuse, ok no biggie.

I failed to find the tiny inverted hidden drivers side kick panel fuse box so I went under the hood in the big fuse box.
The truck was still running (*$#%$#$% IDIOT)

I tried to decipher the hieroglyphics on the fuse box lid and started pulling fuses I thought could be the issue with the truck still running.
Eventually I pulled one that shut the truck off.
I never found a blown fuse under the hood from visual inspection.

I realized at this moment I $%^&ed up.
So I put it all back together, and went to turn the truck off and back on again.

At some point my brain attempted to go into gear and I used my googlefu to finally find the drivers side kick panel fuse box. (truck running again)
I pulled a few fuses that seemed to be related to my dead mirror, all fuses looked good.

Then I noticed my HVAC system controls were blacked out when truck was on.
    OMFG.

Now I have the following dead systems, and I don't really know at what stage of my stupidity today this happened or why a gd rearview mirror power wire is connected to this other stuff:

    1) My entire HVAC panel is dark, nothing working, no lights - System still blowing where it was set to previously, cannot adjust anything.

    2) Airbag light on driver dash (may or may not be related to this issue as I have a knockoff ebay clock spring I installed last year that likes to act up sometimes)

    3) Auto headlight setting so they come on when it gets dark outside inop.

    4) ALL power windows and sunroof inop. Front doors, rear doors, rear glass, and sunroof.

Thats all I noticed inop so far.... no warning lights on anywhere or system errors on dash.

Radio/entertainment system works, not sure if factory pos sub is working or not tbh.
    Power seats work.
    Interior power door locks work.
All exterior and interior lights seem to work minus auto Headlights coming on.
Reverse lights work, bed light works.
    Turn signals and hazards work.
    Fog lights work.
    Power side mirrors work.
Wipers and washer fluid squirters work.
    Blind spot monitoring works.
Aftermarket Tekonsha brake controller wired into factory location and factory plugs works, or is still lit up like normal anyway.
Front cig lighter ports both work, did not check rear as I never use it.
Power running boards plugged into OBD port work.
Remote lock and unlock doors work.
    Remote start works.
I do have interior led's in all dome/map/visor lights but had them well over a year now with no issues.
    Cruise control works.
Power tilt and telescoping steering wheel works.
    Horn works.
Tow/Haul works, did not test LSD.
Truck runs, drives, and stops normally.

Can anyone PLEASE tell me what in the hell the rearview mirror power is connected to and where to find it and check/replace whatever is wrong?

I REALLY don't have the money to take this to the dealership, and I need my HVAC and windows working especially.

    Please help my dumb ass.

    Thank you.

I guess nobody knows the chain of fuses I need to check.

Clearly I don't since I pulled a bunch which were all fine.

I wish I could understand the wiring diagrams that are available but my whole life those things have looked like alien hieroglyphics to me, never understood why they are so impossible to understand.
I'd have better luck trying to read ancient Sumerian.

Guess I'm going to have to pay the dealership a bunch of money I don't have to fix my mistake.

Rearview Mirror Fuse is 7.5A ECU-IG No. 2
Power to HVAC Panel is 7.5A ECU-IG No. 2
Sliding Roof ECU gets ignition power from 7.5A ECU-IG No.2

They are all tied to the same fuse in the interior fuse box under the dash. I would replace this fuse first and report back if anything is still not working.

    YOU ARE MY F'ING HERO!

    THANK YOU SO MUCH!

This 7.5 fuse was indeed blown.
I swapped in a spare 15 from the engine fuse box temporarily until I can get to the auto store to get the proper one.

Everything seems to be working now!

HVAC display is on and seems to be working normally.
    Airbag light is off.
    Auto headlight sensor working.
Power windows and sunroof all working.

I will not reverse anymore wires or mess with tapping anything else incorrectly EVER again.

I can't thank you enough Jeff!

If you were only 1 state away I'd come take you out to dinner sir!

I wish we could vote for the correct answer in posts like these, incase someone else ever needs this information.
I also wish we could rate people for their help, and offer donations or something as a reward.

Btw nice work on your 2014 conversion, I imagine that took some serious work and headaches!

Nice to know it is fixed now, sometimes what looks like a big problem is actually simple if you know to look in the right place.

Hopefully saved you a few hundred $ that the dealer would have gotten from you.

    You are right about that.
    Knowledge is key!
I never would have guessed this fuse labeled something like that was the issue.
I really need to find someone or someplace to finally teach me how to reliably read wiring diagrams and schematics.
It's my main weakness in automotive repair because they are SO complex and I can't make heads or tales of it.
I can handle simple circuits for things like my RC hobbies and computer assembly and repair, but car wiring boggles my mind outside of tapping into power at certain points or wiring in aftermarket car stereo systems.

I was planning to pull and inspect all the fuses one by one after pulling the battery cables later today after work.
I guess I would have found it then, but you sure saved me a lot of headaches, and sadness.

I thought I might have fried an ECU or something crazy.

I did test my radar detector mirror power tap and it still does not work.
Power rearview mirror works fine again though.

I then tested my brand new $600 radar detector with its factory cig lighter power plug and it still works, thank the gods!
So, I guess the wiretap is broken, they are tiny and delicate and I guess I broke it internally somehow.

I'll order up another one, and make sure it goes back in the correct pins (which I saved the info for on my phone from another google search when I originally installed it)

I also found another wiretap for my Viofo dashcam that has a piggyback plug to replace the factory truck wiring plug that goes into the mirror, and has a new plug for the truck wire to plug into, that provides an actual USB port to plug in the power cord for the dashcam.
(Then I can install the radar detector wiretap into this plug and stop wearing out my factory truck plug)
Unfortunately, they are out of stock for my 12pin mirror plug kit but claim they will have them later this month.
So, for now I have the long heavy stock power cord dangling down my dash going into my cig lighter USB ports to power the dashcam.

Any thoughts on pulling power for these 2 items at the same time from this mirror circuit in the truck on a 7.5 fuse?
Is it too much for the wiring, or should I raise the fuse to a 10 or 15?

I really don't have any other options for power because I don't want to use the fuse box hardwire kits because they require running wires in the headliner and trim panels down to the fuse box.
Now that I think about it, I guess I could try and tap power from the domelight/maplight above the rearview mirror since it's on a different circuit, but only if I really have to as that will likely be a pita and risk me frying more stuff lol.

Thank you again for being so kind and helping me out, your a great guy and I hope you have a fantastic day!

As info, I have found that using PosiTaps for tapping circuits is a much better option for getting power. The others do much more damage to the wiring you are tapping.
