After owning Toyota trucks from 2004 to now. I was very surprised to see a plastic skid plate on a Toyota truck, let alone a trd off road.

What wheel spacers did you all use? Specifically, what is the smallest one you would put on so that the factory bolts don't have to be cut?

Thanks. I figured 1" would probably be the minimum. I was hoping to go less but I assume anything less there would be cutting. What brand did you go with?

BORA. Oem wheels have pockets behind the spokes where the oem studs are now at. Iirc, those pockets were pretty deep. You could take a wheel off and do some measuring to find out the thinnest spacer. I think the oem spare is a steelie, so that wouldn't work with the spacer on there.

You used the 1" on the OEM wheels? Then that's all I need to know. 1" is perfect. The shop said to use 1.5".

10k service this morning and requested no tire rotation since I just got new tires (dedicated tire shop). Service advisor asked why i got new tires, inquisitively....I said since the stock Falkens were shit at 9k. She said yeah we are seeing a lot that that. She went on to say that she had been going in circles between Falken and Toyota with zero answers. Unprompted she said the alignment machines are still not updated with the correct specs....awesome.

Not giving me a lot of confidence as Toyota is replacing all four of my Tires due to Alignment issues.

Make sure you get a Fumoto.com valve for oil changes, if you dont already have one, I have their skid plate, went to change oil, well it went everywhere, took me longer to clean up than do the oil change.

Thanks for the heads up. I’ve never heard of this, but certainly makes sense. On their website, it lists 5 different types under ‘23 Tundra. Any idea which one of the 5 options is preferred?

That's what I originally wanted to do but no e of the shops would put the fronts in cause they say on the website "not for air ride equipped" or not for AVS, even though they have nothing to do with the rear air and they work with AVS .

I sold the grille. The mustache and bumper caps are still on, just have the painted covers over them.

Just had the TRD OR Lift put on, rides helluva allot better, even over the pit holes, need to get better picture, but it was dark time I got it back and got home. The front looks higher than the rear, but will check it out tomorrow.
