My “tuxmats” were ordered from Costco. Didn’t come in a Tuxmat box.
They are very very nice mats.

I’m picking my truck up today so looking forward to instaling them

im going to “clip” where you did according to your pics. I also have rear mats so I’ll wing it.

without, even instaling them I can say they have the best coverage of any mat

How exactly did you order them from Costco? I am a member, but I don't see them listed on the website. And are these universal fit or custom fitted for the Tundra?

likely because it’s a Canadian company. Extremely happy with these mats.

Drove it to the top of Pikes Peak.

4 adults(sorta), a full bed of gear, zero issues.

Took her out to the sand dunes. She earned her keep. Wish I had a pic of the rear wheel up in the air. She dug herself in pretty good!! After an hour of digging the frame out, she got out on 4 low with rear lock diff.
I know the Tundy is a beast, there was aZ71 out in the dunes also, and it was struggling to climb the very same hills the Black Widow did so effortlessly.

They were try to get to me to help me out(Z71 kept trying to climb the hill, through various different avenues to no avail) as I continued digging, I finally managed to get out by the time they made it up the hill.
Here is a pic of her in dunes. Damn, wish I had a pic of the rear wheel in the air. I had to put my wife and kids in the bed to counter weight the rear tire and get it on the ground.

I think it was YouTube comments section where I learned tuxmats made the “phantom” mats for Costco.

I am beyond thrilled with them. Someone here posted that they looked “ridiculous” but I don’t get it. They not only look great, they have the most coverage of any mat. I can’t believe I’d never heard of them before especially they are Canadian and I prefer to buy Canadian when possible.

side note, I only needed to use 4 Velcro clips total. One per mat for the “legs”. The fit like a second set of skin. Didn’t need to settle in. I bought them 2 months before I got the truck and laid them out in the basement to get the “crinkles” out.

Put the Tundra on trails my former Tacoma rode. Truck performed very well, comfy ride. It was nice having the power and no leaf springs.20231009_115018.jpg

Brought the Tundra home today. And installed the baby seat. Took 2 damn hours to get the homelink to work on the garage - huge pain in the ass

Taking off the predator steps tomorrow

IMG_3956.jpg IMG_3954.jpg Picked up my first Toyota today. Took it in for ceramic tint (20% over the back windows, 30% up front, and 80% windshield). Looking through a lot of this forum for some ideas regarding the grill/lights and hopefully move over a lot of stereo stuff I had in my Chevy truck

Try as I might, I just haven’t been able to remember to turn Auto S/S off every time. While I rarely press the brake hard enough to engage S/S, I’ve about gone insane hearing it kinda stop when I park. As such I gave in and added the device to auto disable S/S on every start today. Now I can be sane.

I didn't know there was a way to disable it.
That said, I actually got used to the S/S. I use it on my commute to work and it change my MPG from 16 to 18 when I use it.

    None yet, just bought 9/30/23
I changed my tailgate lettering. Removed the old letters and replaced them with these cool USA flag ones I got on Amazon for roughly $40. Once I saw the quality of the letters I removed I got outraged that Toyota is charging something like two bills for these pieces of crap. They couldn't even hold up to the 30 pound test fishing line I used to removed the adhesive.

Tackled the install of the Talons skid plates and cat converter shield. Very good quality with perfect fitment. The “TRD off road” OEM skid plate is a joke lol.
