    Should be noted there is a typo on it. 05-06 Tundras do NOT have a 8" front diff. They have the same 7.5" reverse clamshell the 00-04s have.

    I want to say the 8" factory e-lockers came with 4.30 gears, but I could be wrong on that. Either way the front diff has to match. Regarding using the 8" carrier in an 8.4" housing, this is what they have to say:

    "It cannot be easily retrofitted into a T100/Tundra or open-diff Tacoma style axle housing because the mounting bolt pattern is smaller. It "could" be done by an axle builder by doing major work to the mounting flange, but that is not really a practical option."

    Just the ring and pinion maybe. You'll probably need a conversion pinion flange.
