Riding a sportbike (or dirtbike) seems to make my tailgate seem really light.

anyone know where to get tailgate cables? Any aftermarket options?

Changed the oil today and replaced the air filter. Used factory OEM oil filter/air filter. Oil used was Mobile 1.

Not yet. Just helped prototype. He's gonna build one and powder coat it for pics.

    Also, do the torsion bar.

    It'll be a huge improvement.

I can get it to work with page numbers etc, but when I type SA it brings up everything that has those 2 letters together. If I type SA- then zero results. I'm wondering if it has something to do with internet explorer? that where it has always opened from. It will allow me to search SR and take me to that section put in a dash then go to say, SR-12 just fine. Just no dice with SA. Or I can be sitting on page SS-79 and search for another nearby SS-xx and it won't do shit...

    You may also try "SA-1"

It may jump you to the 1st section. Make that the habit. Looking for transmission info or your 5spd trans? "AT-1"

Honestly, I got the new Method wheels on about 36 hours before surgery. I haven't touched the truck or driven it since the evening of Sept 26th, little over 2wks ago.

Would love to get more time with it. Which reminds me, I need to get new clamps for the inner CV boots and grab a pack of OEM CV grease while I'm at it.

It felt alright with the toe adjustments, but I honestly think more caster would help, I just need to find a shop that's willing to do it.

Suspension-wise though, with the coilovers and new leafs, it drives like a new truck. Not harsh at all. Tight, responsive. I like it.

Need opinions on center caps. I wanted the polished TRD caps (PTR18-35092), but they're vaporware at the moment. I had FN send me an extra set of bronze caps and just put the stickers on, so they're not recessed like the FNWs or OEM.

That's where I'm leaning too. They should do until I can get my hands on some OEMs.

Then I would rock the FNW ones until the TRD ones became available. I like the contrast.

I like the contrast too, but having FNW where TRD is supposed to be looks gayer than a jizz rope across a beard.

If you qualified for BST rules, I'd maybe be willing to sell you my 4, that are still new in the Toyota plastic... For the right price.

Definitely the ones on the left. The outer edge of the rim provides a nice contrast imo.

I swore @BubbaW had another reply in here, I guess he yoinked it.

Just wanted to say: I use Foxit PDF reader, it's more secure than Adobe and has less problems. It has no issues with regular dash usage when hunting. I guess it's just better programmed than other readers (Chrome native, Acrobat, etc.)

Yesterday I played around with the ASWC-1 again trying to get my buttons to work correctly. I reset it and tried manual programming several times. I briefly got the Volume Up button working correctly but after turning the key off, the next time I turned it back on, the buttons were all wonky and only some of them working again. I have double checked and triple checked my connections and its all fine. I went ahead and ordered an iDatalink SW interface and will try that as well. I have iDatalink in my Ferd and it has worked amazazingly.

Interesting. Did you get Assassin’s OEM buttons yet? I honestly think those will work. I still think it’s the Alibaba parts at the core of this problem.

I’m hoping to steering wheel swap tomorrow. Just gotta get thru this damn post-surgery follow-up appt around lunchtime and I’m golden.

I suspect having OEM parts from dealership my right hand controls will just “work” and ASWC will auto detect as others have reported but … not positive.
