I'd like to say patience is a virtue I hold,

    but I have the attention span and patience of a gnat. When you combine it with my penchant for anger and my high desire for justice, the supply chain and (purposeful?) manufacturing delays of the past couple years caused me to look elsewhere. And I did.
    I purchased a GMC 2500 AT4. Beautiful truck. Loaded with cool features.
    And filled with more nitnoid issues than a college grad hire.
    Oh, and my wife won't drive it. At all. "Too big" "Scares me" "I can't see anything"
    <sigh>

    So, I decided to look again. And my searching, again, drew me back to Tundras. In particular TRD Pros.
    I told the wife if I found one with no markup, on a lot so I didn't have to wait for it, and willing to give me a trade in that captured my initial downpayment so all I'd lose is, roughly, 1 1/2 monthly payments, I'd buy it.
    And dangit, I did.

    This time next week I'll be driving home in my brand spanking new black Tundra TRD Pro. Long way to get around to it but FINALLY I'll be in the cool kids club.
    Can't wait.
    Cheers,

    I didn’t spend the money to just swap out stuff.
    Welcome to the club, remember to only wave at other 3rd genners and particularly those that are electrified.

    Side note, you or your wife may still run over pedestrians, those side mirrors block a lot of vision.

    I prefer the Tundra more. Although, of course, it was a bit unusual at first with its size, but now I can't imagine anything else.
