frame rail to frame rail could work. But needs to clear the gas tank.

I don't even use facetime.

I mean, it is what it is. This is from my '68 C10's bag setup, while mocking up final trimming and install. Double 2" square tube xmember notched for driveline travel. It works. It was stout. And with a tank that large, it's what it called for.

Today I realized that every time I have 250lbs hanging off the rear, my brakes feel amazing. The pedal travels less before biting and is firmer. It's clear the rear are working more.

This makes me think I don't have the prop valve adjusted correctly when I'm unloaded.

Would this mean I need to raise it like @shifty` did recently?

 

Bro, do yourself a favor. If you didn't do this when you lifted the rear, do it now. You should've done it back then. It was a palpable difference in engagement when I relocated higher.

Pick one. You don't hafta use my dimensions and stuff in the middle block of text here to make your own out of flat bar stock. But once installed, you may want to follow the advice in that post to raise things as shown.

Most of those kits should compensate for ~2". my holes are spaced holes 2.5" apart because my LSPV bracket was maxed out, I can't go higher on the shaft, but I can easily dial back down. In hindsight, I should've aimed for 3.5", I may build a new bracket later. (pic)

 

I guess so. I never thought it was necessary because without my overload spring the ICON AAL didn't really lift it. I got maybe half an inch? I'll take a look at those.

Working from home. Didn’t even know it was a holiday since i have to work it anyway.

 

Focusing on recovering still. Maybe steering wheel swap. We shall see.

 

I went to work just to find out the VA is closed so we can't work.

 

How many more weeks are you supposed to be taking it easy to recover?

 

I only know because someone called it a holiday weekend when I was bitching about my Saturday morning job orientation

 

So what video games you playing instead?
I beat Mafia and Watchdogs. They were awesome. I been playing Watchdogs 2 and I'm tempted to return it and buy Mafia 2 and 3 instead. Watchdogs 2 sucks.

 

I'm just getting to a point where I'm eating semi-solid foods. Still pretty significantly uncomfortable to swallow. I see a lot of the soft scabs have peeled away from the back of my throat, so maybe I'm close. F-up with the doc exactly 48hrs from now, hopefully learn biopsy result and get an idea of when I can start lifting things, exercising, and all that other stuff I was told to avoid at all costs for 2-4 weeks after surgery. Current weight is 169lb, lowest I hit was 167lb. I didn't expect it to have that much of an impact, but I'm gonna run with it, see if I can keep it off. (I hover 185-190ish normally, tend to fluctuate all over the map +/- 10lb)

 

I keep playing minecraft, terraria, and fallout 4. I'm waiting for grill to come over so I can start the last of us.
