I use that for a lot of things. Been using it for what you used it for, for years. It lubes all my motorcycle and mountain bike chains. Anything that is outdoors, metal wise, gets a coat. It's not as durable, long lasting, as say woolwax or fluid film, buts it's easy. An it works. Apply often:thumbsup:

I apply once year to my frame and undercarriage. I don’t know how long it could last, but it is very tacky and sticks around until the next Fall when I reapply no problem.

I’m sure it’s a different story on moving metal-on-metal parts like bike chains.

My wife wasn't impressed with the smell. To me, it has a somewhat tropical/coconut smell. Maybe I spent too much te inhaling the fumes

Install is simple. Search you tube for Tundra Rear Console Removal. Get a set of plastic pry tools and take your time. Panel is held on by 3 screws on the back side

How many sets did you have to buy? I looked at link it states that it comes in a pack of 4, so do you need 2 sets for the front seats then?

Are the 2018 Spindles the same as the 2021 spindles? According to toyota parts dept they have the same Part #.

One kit for both sides. these only go on the front seat brackets.

edit: fyi I do have the seat jackers on the driver side. No issues with installing.

I am not 100% sure but I believe 2018 was the first year that had the larger hole in the spindle which is the only difference. You can always drill that hole out if needed, it is already centered

I have black carpet in my truck and obviously everything is already cut and ready to install. Totally up to you but I would be willing to trade carpet and give you my foam that is already cut. I have one small scrape on the front of the lid on the 40% side but other than that it is like new

Yes, 650 lb springs and adding a flutter shim to soften up the little stuff. It has 700 lb on it now with no preload, and ride height wants to be a tad lower.

    Yes

Well bummer, you want a tad lower and I want a tad higher in the front. Icon tells me no shims should be added to their coil overs. Why are they so special? LOL

Sorry guys but don't order these. I just tried to drop them in and the body diameter to too large. I'll measure the holes in the new panel when I get to work. I'm surprised as I thought these were all standardized????

Edit...Looks like aftermarket are always larger. Wasn't saying not to order the plate, just quick mod like stated below

Can you enlarge the holes with a step-drill bit?

No...it is common that the aftermarket are larger. The panel is made for the OEM size sockets. You can open it up easily with a Dremel or step bit on low speed.

You’ll have to open the holes up with a step drill bit to fit them. Doesn’t matter which ones you get, they are all bigger than the factory socket.
I have the same plate - I run the factory original socket on one side and that same charger port in the other side.
