Ok, optical illusion it is with the zip tie looking like the end. That's clearly not exposed, just the braid wrap. You're good.

Anybody used this before? Do you have to wax after using? I bought it awhile back and never used it on my truck yet. I have a 2021 and want to make it shine like new again. Thanks for any input!

I’ve used it before to help with some scratches/pinstripes and typically apply wax after I was done with the polish.

I also use this on my electric guitars/basses. After I’m done wet sanding this polish really makes the paint pop!

This is used to refine/correct any blemishes in your paintwork. After completing the corrections, you will be left with virgin paintwork. It is highly recommended that you supplement with some sort of protection be it wax, synthetic paint sealant or other coating.

I am removing my ESP a storage unit and was wondering if anyone have pictures of the OEM seat brackets for a 2.5 Gen CrewMax. The two black brackets go with the storage unit

I'm sure you could find someone local willing to swap you out the parts - foam, carpet, brackets, etc.

So I went out to the garage immediately and the wife comes out asking me what I am doing make all that noise. I showed her a picture and she said "You needed that?"

My plans are for a seat delete but I wanted a route back to stock. Oh well, I will keep an eye out for used I guess

I am taking the foam out also to build the platform for my dogs that will have interchangeable top for only one dog or no dog and storage only. Sometimes we run two vehicles and others it is just one of the two. I am replacing the carpet with a vinyl material so I do not have to struggle getting hair from 2 white dogs out of my black carpet

if you sell the ESP locally, you might be able to trade the buyer for their stock seat brackets... :notsure:

Getting prepared to post it for sale and I only want local, I do not want to bother with a large shipment like that. I thought the same thing. I could give them all the foam to that could be swapped out

The struggle is REAL. My plan is to forensically cover everything up if the dogs end up in my truck for a trip. My wife's wrangler is the primary dog mover because she takes them to work all the time and it looks like a crime scene in her Jeep. I can't stand it. We converted the whole cargo area to a dog enclosure, but we never thought to install a covering on the floor and seatbacks. Now there is 10 lbs of cattle dog hair woven into the whole are back there, Lol

Not when it is locked. If you do not lock it and have the seats up of course it will rattle/buzz on a bumpy road. When the lids are closed and locked (I have both keys) the lids have a rubber seal on them and quiet as a church mouse

If the seats are down, even when unlocked, you shouldn't get any rattle either. I know mine doesn't

Glued the rubber strips back into the cab roof grooves after my roof rack install. I'm not posting pics because, while "it's good enough for who it's for" it isn't my best work. That 3M weatherstripping adhesive is runny, sticky, and gets you straight up higher than a kite in no time.

Also drove into town to get supplies for the animals and a Costco run on Sunday.

Thanks Rey! Shocks are getting rebuilt at Schmidty Racing in a few weeks, waiting on new coil springs. So going to replace the shock bolts same time. Did get the 2 that started the 12pt swap in today, bottom limit strap/bypass bolt with new Dirt King clevis and straps. Supposed to have the straps between the bypass and coilover, and that uses 11” straps but is stupid. Mine are moved and needed 10” straps due to new location, 11” ran out of adjustment. My limit straps have no room for error, the upper uniball is next in line to bottom out, and the coil tower brace wins that every time.:anonymous:
