At a Quick Quack local to me, the brushes picked up a water hose out of the back of a pick up and the couple of vehicles behind it didn’t fare so well. They had fairly extensive damage.

Monthly car wash subscription here! I dont care, its a truck, i out dirt bikes in it, road trip in it, it gets folks leaning up against it in dirt bike gear. No point in treating it like a garage queen, my mustang is a different story. Oh course with white which I have now or silver in the last truck it wasn’t a big deal.

Find a local hand wash car wash and pay them if you don't want to hand wash it your self.

I have an 07 and don’t use automatic. Not because of the brushes and swirls, because those detergents eat away at the finish

I just go through the manual car wash and wash myself. Use a Dewalt leaf blower to dry and a chamois to get any leftover drops. I'll use a touchless auto in winter to mostly keep salt and grime off the frame. Don't like the brush based washes.

I subscribe to a touchless wash. Been doing it for years with my vehicles.

I have done touchless washes before but it did not clean very well. I would prefer it over brushes if it worked, but sometimes you just need to wipe it in addition to the spray, and if the roller brushes is what's wiping it, then that's what I use.

I carry mine every couple weeks. The truck has too many crevices and what not for it clean really well. I have to clean the TRD wheels by hand each time as it misses them altogether.

What exsctly do you mean by a manual car wash if you don't use brushes? Are you just wash and rinsing with the wand?

I would recommend researching the place you are looking into. I use to take it to one of those washes, but the brushes would not fully clean the vehicle and when sealant goes on it, it will layer over it and would mess up your paint. I go to a hand wash place now so there is less stress on the paint.

I use a 3400 PSI power washer in warm weather and whatever car wash that has undercarriage sprinklers and rust inhibitors in winter. Looks as good as truck!

Yep. I will sometimes bring a bucket and a clean chamois sponge to wipe off dirt. The wand does ok between home washes. I only use the car washes brush on the windows and wheels after spraying it off w the wand.
