Nothing exciting here just preventative damage items done. Wrapped the abs lines and power steering lines.

What did you wrap them with for protection?

The power steering line I wrapped in rubber hose where it was closer to the body like a sleeve. Then the abs line thicker oem style plastic wire sleeving.

85532-08040 I have a friend at the local dealer who was able to get it for $54. I have an extra one if interested in it, I can modify it for you, so you can just plug it in when you get it.

He's got a 2018, so unless he swapped out that panel to the 2020-2021 version it won't work anyway.

My RCI sliders arrived this morning. Hopefully I can get them installed sometime next week. Lead time was 6-8 weeks at time of order and they were done in 5.

I've been having issues with my remote start. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. I put new batteries in the key fobs and the same thing....
Went to YouTube and found this video.

    (81) Common Remote Start Problems and Fixes - YouTube

Based on what he said, I made sure all the doors were closed and checked the hood...blah blah... everything was good to go.
Then I decided to check the battery and it was from December of 2017. So I figured it was time to replace it and did a couple of searches here...
    and found this video.

    (81) Which Car Battery is Best? Let's find out! - YouTube

There is no Costco nearby, so I ended up going to Walmart and getting the EverStart battery. (750 CCA; 925 CA)

It would appear to have fixed the problem. Truck started right up with the remote. I waited awhile, tried it again and still worked just fine.

My neighbor (lovely 86 y.o. woman) wants to sell her 38k miles 2021 F-250 w/ plow. She's asking 40k. Anyone interested? I see this truck mostly sitting idle since her son passed away about a year/year and a half ago. Boston metrowest area.

Meanwhile I checked how Raptor-coated skid plates are doing on my Tundra, and they are doing great! ;)

    FX4. Suicide doors - that's a smaller cab? Gas, I think.

No idea. Looking at my 2019 Tundra, I guess there's some frame rust on 2021 Ford, but nothing major.

    Awesome
I need to see about the connector info- might be able to just swap the connector and not modify anything…

That part number pulls as a single USB-A + single USB-C rather than the dual USB-C in your pictures…

Looks like the dual USB-C is part 85532-0E110

I’ve got one inbound to try this out!

First item on the list - Go Rhino Dominator D6 Steps.

Installed only to find that the mounting brackets were wrong. Go Rhino quickly sent replacements.
(Apparently, CM brackets are inches longer than DC)

I got mine powdercoated with the top tread plate. Was initially going to order them raw and paint them myself but figured having the frame mounts powdercoated might be more durable and salt/corrosion resistant than what I could do.
