Hello all

I wanted to let everyone know I believe there’s someone on Instagram that is scamming Toyota owners out of there hard earn money. There’s a Instagramer called Master Yotas Parts that has been posting Toyota parts for really cheap. I got sucked in to the great prices and attempted to purchase a set of rims and tires. Unfortunately he was able to get about $400 out of my pocket before I figured out he was scamming me for money. I was able to file a claim through my bank and got my money back. Before this happens to anyone else I wanted to inform you all. In fact he has an active posting right now for some TRD suspension that actual was posted on here by a user, he pulled the images and now advertising them for sale. See attached image. Please be careful when purchasing items. Hopefully this save someone from going through what I did.

this seems like the same people out scamming people in the mr2 community.. stolen photos with really low prices.

they buy followers to appear legit.

 

If you look at all the Instagram posts from that guy, no replies or comments from any real followers.

Lots of red flags:. No comments, too many items listed, prices too good, 80% of followers are Instagram model wannabees

 

Yeah I just commented that it’s a scam and he blocked me. The white trd skid plate is the same as a FB marketplace ad I saw yesterday, which was also a scam. Good eye, OP

 

There are two IG accounts: @master_yotas_parts_ and @master_yotas_parts_usa. The former has the totally legit name of “Griag Russen J”, and the latter belongs to “Mark William’s” lol.

Both accounts are posting loads of parts available for too-good-to-be-true prices.

 

And just “master_yotas”

they bought a bunch of followers, which is cheaper than you may think. Few hundred bucks

 

There’s many of those accounts floating around targeting the car community. Beware!

Hi Allan! I can vouch for Allan. He tuned my 16 Tundra and I will hopefully be reaching out for my 15 Sequoia. He comes
to your door and the tune is awesome (I went with HP). Way better than some other canned tune options out there.

 

So many Toyota part scams on Insta and FB. I would advise to never trust any of them. Sorry to the members here that have been scammed.
