Just updated the post. Audio was executed by MTI Acoustics.

You may purchase online with them and they’ll ship you their box or can schedule to have em install it.

Tested out my new Icon 2.5 w/RR (non-adjust) on a chain of trails in Central CA. I knew I’d like them since I had them on a 4runner. Noticeable and much better than the TRD Bilsteins (IMO).

Took off the black wrap on the doors. I like this look much better.

and took off the OEM 4x4 badge and replaced it with something much much cooler (and still OEM!)

Got hooked up by Dustin @FNWheels . My second set. BFD 18x9 +25 gunmetal graphite perfect OEM , hubcentric wheels. Through on some bfg 275/65/18 . Couldn’t stand the ugly sr5 wheels.

Installed the RCI fuel tank skid plates on my Crew Cab 6.5’ hybrid. I waited several months after paying upfront for them to be delivered, since they were waiting to get their hands on one in their shop before shipping.

The front bracket did not fit on the plate at all in its delivered form.

It turned about a 20 minute installation job into over an hour. The instructions didn’t apply to my configuration, and it was a Saturday, so nobody was in the office to answer the phone.

I decided to just modify it to work. I bent the bottom of the bracket the opposite direction, cut off the lip off the factory driveshaft loop, and then hit it with paint.

    IMG_7498.jpg

    Nothing to hook to here.
    IMG_7499.jpg

The bracket is bent the opposite direction it should be to fit here, and is blocked by the driveshaft loop.

Installation after modifying the bracket and driveshaft loop.

Installed Swing Cases, debadged long chrome 1794 door badges and installed old school 2nd gen 1794 emblem on tailgate, washed and waxed, cut anti slip tape strips and applied to running boards (Keeps me from buying the TRD running boards) - tedious but clean and worth it.

Did you have to drill into the truck to install Swing Cases?

Yes, the case comes with a cut out template and once aligned, mark and drill. 4 holes for the rear bracket and 4 holes for the striker bracket. Each hole is roughly 1/4”. I did both boxes in a couple of hours as I took my time, and drank a beer of course :)

Lookin' good @vorkuta775 ! Thank you - it was great catching up with you! The right wheels and tires make a huge difference on the third gen Tundra.

I just want to make one very small correction / clarification : the flow formed 18x9" BFDs for the third gen Tundra are 18x9" +20mm offset (not +25mm offset).

Got my oil analysis report...5k miles and fuel dilution is at 2.1 this time, 2.2 previously. Sadly, silver is more than twice as high, from 5 to 11ppm this time. Bearing failure in the horizon?

Recently went to dealer for a few things, heard back from the dealer today and wanted to share this experience in case it affects others.
    *2nd keyfob delivery
*constant squeak from raising and lowering center console lid - dealer indicated that lube wouldn't fix it so they ordered a new hinge assembly
*small interior door panel has separated leaving a small gap between panels. - This was interesting. I showed my service advisor the separation and asked that the panel be replaced. She looked it over and acknowledged the gap. Then called someone to ask what parts she would need to replace this area or at least ask how its done. It seems as though once they found out that this small silver panel could only be resolved by replacing the entire interior door panel. I got a call from the dealer today and they said they called the factory and the factory declined fixing the issue. The truck has 4200 miles and I treat it better then my kids, it is unfortunate that I had to escalate the issue to Toyota Customer Care. This was clearly a financial decision and the reasoning is that I could have caused the issue. I'm certain that if this part was "popped" in and easy to replace I wouldn't have had to write this.... I'll update once Toyota does what is right or this will be my last post here as I'll be dropping the truck off at my Chevy dealership.... ok maybe that's a little far

If I could and will do it all over again. I’d definitely get a Retrax or a Diamond back cover.

my Rough Country has been ok. It’s been solid, finish has diminished a small bit. I’m d rate it a 7 out 10.

Mounted a MagSafe puck (in a 3d-printed mount) next to the mostly-useless Qi charger. Ran the cable through a small hole (gulp) I put into that front storage section, back through the console, through a hole I drilled in one of the coin mounts next to the USB-C charger. Won't be as fast as wired charging (thanks to Toyota's wimpy USB charging ports) but faster than Qi and more secure.

Received and installed a Taco Tunes cat shield on my 2023 TRD DC. Very sharp edges on the aluminum shield. The security bolts are stainless but the fender washers and nylock bolts are carbon. Took about 30 minutes only because the rear drivers side nut is in a pretty tight spot.
