Honestly no. Most of them live in Minnesota. When you have a family that big it's not easy to stay close. There are a lot I've never met. I do remember one family reunion in the 90's where there were hundreds of people.

I've got room for polo and 1 passenger. Someone wants to bring kids, they better dress like lumber, cause they're riding in the back.

    9/11 changed everything.
People are obsessed with safety and germs, etc.
They may not correlate, but it marks the noticable change for me, at least.

My mom was a educator, she thinks peanut allergies are basically due to these kinds of parents.
My kids school is “nut free” but I don’t think anyone actually has the allergy. Great way to keep the allergy alive!
Hahah we send “nut” related food all the time; whoops

My generation was much different as kids. Parents were clueless on taking care of kids so they just had more of them with the expectation they’d lose a few to natural selection. :D

I brought nuts on the plane to WA and my sister was like, "you might not be allowed to bring that if anyone on the entire plane has a nut allergy." Luckily it didn't come to that.

Surprisingly with all the dirt he plays and throws, he’s got bad allergies but none are food related.

I’ve learned my lesson for work related food functions, it’s usually all fake or turkey or not even substitute. So this last breakfast we had, me and my partner stopped before and got some danky burritos, got a plate, unwrapped it and got down. Some people looked appalled, yet they know how terrible the food is! But most importantly I think we opened peoples mind, you don’t HAVE to sit here and eat a free meal that tastes like cold rubber, there are other options.

At least we get real food when the food trucks come around. Only issue is the wait which can be up to 45 minutes. Basically, the whole lunch period.

Man I love turkey. I'll take turkey or chicken with some cheese any day. Veggies are a bonus. I don't eat bread anymore.
    I miss burritos.

I can tell you being the kid who was allergic to everything which included a severe allergy to peanuts, it can’t be that. My mother rarely knew where I was nor cared when i was growing up.
