Can a cab be sound deadened from tire howl?
    Those tires look noisy.

Why are algorithms so stupid? Is that how normie folk think? Oh, you ordered a truck cap seal? You must want 30 more. You want '99-'06 parts, by golly, wait until you see what i have for '07+. T4rds.

I mean, in theory, yes, sound deadener theoretically mask all outside noises, and your cab mounts should theoretically stop any vibrations from entering the cab metal, and sound deadener on the cab metal should stop interior panels from vibrating.

But I can't even picture those tires on our trucks.

Well fuck... What a nightmare it was adjusting the cutoffs on those projectors. I'm pretty sure the first bump on a trail is going to fuck the passenger side again because I took it apart a little too far and did some mangling.
Headlights are back in the truck along with bulbs and corner lights. Battery and airbox are not back on the truck yet. The Morimoto harness only plugs into the driver side and I guess they only make em long enough to reach the passenger side of a car, not a fullsize truck. So I just emailed support again. This time for an extension harness. FML.
Every fucking step of the way has been a PITA. Always is. :frusty:
That's probably why I stopped enjoying working on my trucks and only do it out of pure necessity and usually try to work in a group setting.
    I need an adult! :goingcrazy:

I still need to drill holes and mount the ballasts to the firewall. My old scamazon ballasts were just bouncing around loose for the last 4 years. But that set was like less than $50. The Morimoto setup I got it's like $200. No point in going much further till I figure out how to power the passenger headlight. Taking a much needed break. Mental and physical. :typing:

Of the mangling? It wouldn't have photographed well. Too small of parts involved.

I've been eyeing some Morimoto bi-xenon projectors. I figured I would stuff them into some new Depo housings and have most of the retrofit together off the truck so its almost a plug and play setup.

I should probably start by driving the truck more than a few miles a week, or do the timing belt, or fix the output shaft leak, or balljoints/suspension, or mount tires on the 4 runner wheels I picked up, or or or or:rofl:

Ah yes... a fellow connoisseur of procrastination, I see.

The laundry list is real. I'm sitting here thinking about all the bajillion things I'd love to be doing on the truck. I hope to have most of the queue cleared before EOY.

And you didn't have any issues with harnesses not reaching? How did you route to the passenger side?
I'm thinking I'll go along the firewall. But I need another 2'-3' of wire harness

I have the H1 Morimoto elite kit

The retrofit is only a glint in my eye at this point in time. From my light reading, yes the standard harness is very short, and yes you will need an extension harness to route the wiring cleanly.

Theretrofitsource is my go to for this kind of thing. They are a little more speedy on most things, but sell quality authentic parts, and have killer customer service.

I'll check it out. So far Morimoto has had great customer service. They even sent me the adapters I needed a few years back for free

I did my sequoia few years ago and the harness was just fine. I routed it over the hose just above the radiator.

I drove a 68 Porsche many years and parts were often hard to find but two guys one in NorCal and the other in OH built wrecking yards that only had these vehicles. The 911/912 forum members were forever indebted to these guys.

If anyone needs it I have attached the PDF detailing how to add/rewrite/erase registration for keyless entry key fobs. This will help you add new fobs to your vehicle if you have keyless entry.

    EDIT: For 2005/2006 Tundra's.

The question for you two is whether you played it in a home rumored to have ghosts or spirits? (and i don’t mean the kind you drink).

Where'd you ground the passenger side?
    What's that hose to anyways?

That is the last house I would expect to be haunted. It looks like suburbia.
