    Looking for shampoo recommendations....

    I'm down to about an 1/8th of a bottle of my long time favorite, and unfortunately this product was discontinued last year and is no longer available :(

    So, I was curious to see what other folks were/are using and see if anyone had any recommendations for product(s) they really like...

    The product I've been using (for the last decade or so) is by Tigi and is called 'Self Absorbed'; it's supposedly a mega-nutrient shampoo.

    Also, I avoid most of the common hair-damaging activities such as coloring, perming, blow drying, etc...in case that was going to influence any of the recommendations :thumbsup:

    Shit man, you are really living up to your rainbow avatar. No self respecting dude gives a flying fuck about shit like that. We use whatever is in the shower, or the bar of soap also in the shower. When I buy shampoo, it's Suave or whatever else is about $2 a bottle. For christ's sake, even my wife uses it.

    A few months ago my wife asked what I wanted to do for my birthday. I told her I didn’t want to do anything. Primarily because birthdays are just another day to me, but also cuz we just bought a trailer and I wasn’t in the mood to spend big bucks for a fancy dinner.

    Well, doing “nothing” is now having the family over for dinner…which is costing me 2-3x what a nice dinner out would have cost. One of these days I’ll learn to just go with the flow…

    My brand is the bulk cheap stuff from Costco. Currently known as Pantene Pro-V, but subject to change based on what Costco has on the shelves when I resupply. I’ve tried my wife’s stuff a few times over the years when mine ran out and never felt it made any difference. So my criteria for shampoo is it’s cost effective, doesn’t smell of happiness, rinses without issue and is one step up from J&J Head and Shoulders garbage.
