I haven’t yet and may not depending on how it all looks after this is done, but I've got a limited and may swap out the grille in favor of the TRD PRO/Heritage grill. Once this fog lamp overlay is on, will that make things harder? I can't remember if the grill unscrews and drops out of the back of the grill surround or the front.

 

you can pry the oem cover off the front with everything else intact. Having this on there would make it harder to do for sure since you wont be able to bend it like you need to. If youre swapping grilles, you can simply pop it off from the back.

We should be shipping them out NEXT WEEK!! Unless they're painted. They may be the following week. But all of our parts that have already been ordered are with the painter, so he's gonna be working on those today and early next week. Basically, next week gets the ball rolling and it's just gonna fly down that hill

Unfortunately, the best I can give ya is "before the end of the year". It's a surprisingly complex part and we want to make it so it's affordable and not like "Wow, jeez, I might as well get something OEM".

Well I finally got around to sticking on the Bumpershellz mustache covers. Wasn't too difficult doing it solo. I must say, it came out pretty darn good. A couple of paint flaws but no one will notice and plus my commute will add to the divets already on the front end of the truck. lol

Looks great! Army Green is my favorite color. Are my eyes deceiving me or is your grille a different color than "normal"?

Yeah, the color match is spot on and I love the Army Green as well... obviously! lol Lunar was my 1st choice but nothing available when I needed a truck. The grill is gray. That is what it came with.

Our research and development team is literally two or three guys and they have been working on a large thermoformed so we can get the mustache out faster. So other projects get back-burnered temporarily. I can see what the ETA is though.

THe grille is gray? Dang, my eyes are worse than I thought.

 

I was referring to the chrome pieces on the bumper, my spoiler is color matched, although it looks black in that photo

Yeah or early next week. We have the mold/tool in our HUGE thermoformer (that we finally got running). The Evans' just need to reprogram the machine a little bit and it should start running 'for real' tonight. Painted parts will still need to wait. But I just looked at the giant thermoforming machine right before I started this reply and the tool is in there ready to go!

 

Muhahahaha. De-Chroming is almost complete. Just waiting on window trim.

 

I just re-read the original post. And my answer is now "Yeah, should be... we have a ton of them made... we just need to train people how to tape them".

The window trim will likely be November Release
