Were you able to retain all the accessories on the Oem head unit. If not what did you loose? Rear camera, navigation assist, etc

 

You lose the factory navigation, but I never used it anyway. Same with XM radio unless you add an aftermarket tuner (I don’t subscribe to XM). All the steering wheel controls are retained (using the maestro RR adapters). The factory maintenance reminders that you can set in the HU are gone, but the other factory settings are there (like door lock time-out settings, etc.). The Navigation/compass screen in the instrument cluster is still there but is blank, so that is lost (I'm not surprised, since the Navigation ECU is the lower portion of the head unit). Rear camera is fully functional. Also, if you subscribe to the Toyota app for remote start/remote lock, that functionality is retained (even though there is no indication that the DCM module is connected because it doesn't connect to the aftermarket harness at all). I doubt that the SOS button function will work though, since it is not connected to the HU at all (required for mic and speaker output)
Edit - looking at the wiring diagrams deeper, looks like the factory mic and front passenger speakers actually route through the DCM module, so the SOS function would likely be retained for someone that uses it.

I thought he was referring to a FRAC harness.

 

He was. The head unit has the ability to switch between cameras, so there's no need for the FRAC.

4 years later and I'm finally starting the anti-chrome process. Just ordered the AJT cup holder/shifter/shift gate trim.

Since I have a TRD Sport, I didn't have much chrome to begin with. Already blacked out the V8 Iforce emblems and debadged the "TUNDRA" on the doors.

 

Degloss the shifter surround too.
