Still figuring that out, got some camper clamps coming today so will probably go that route. Or ill put bolts through the rails to attach to the angle brackets

Personally, I wouldn't risk junkyard LBJ's. It's such a problematic part I'd just go new

For sure, but I might as well take them with me if I'm already pulling the spindles and lcas.

Holy Batman! I just bought Toyota Re-manufactured CV Axles (43430-0C010-84) for 83.93 each, with no core charge!!

    https://parts.lakelandtoyota.com/p/__/16422743/434300C01084.html

With shipping, both axles land on my front door for under $200!

I'd read here on tundras.com that Toyota was exiting the reman business, so I figured I'd better grab them while I can. I don't need them at the moment, but for $200 I can buy them just in case. Film at 11:00...

Welp, I couldn't pass that up either. I suspect they're going to ping both of us in 2 weeks to say "we made a mistake", or knowing my luck I'll end up getting some chunky, rusty ass POS ones someone core'd from the salt belt ... but I guess if I can get two CV Axles for $100, I'm not doing too bad.

Bed stiffners planned? The rails are stable top to bottom with static load, but dynamic load is different and may cause some lateral spread of the bedsides. Some with other gens and overlanding caps have experienced this.

Not a bad idea, i should probably look into bed stiffeners. I appreciate all the feedback guys!

Any recommendations on brands to look into for our tundras?

Brands?!? Make your own sir! Can’t do all that fab work and punk out on stiffners. Look up some designs, and cut and weld your own!

Rago and Victory 4x4 both come to mind

Yes, of course...but I'm just speculating (in jest) that they might not ship my order first...

I also ordered CV Axles for my Land Cruiser. They were somewhat more expensive @ $107/ea

Beauty of the forums , lessons learned by others experimenting help the fellow man and are good karma for those that share.

    -Yesterday: oil change/filter
-Transfer case fluid change ( Mobile 1-75-90)
-Cut sections of 3/8's -301 SS for boxing in frame.
    - I will be reinforcing/gusseting Uca Mounts/ Spindles custom myself and plan to buy cam lock out kit.

    - also got to use 4LO today, actually got stuck in 4HI (lots of rain) . Shout out to Mickey T's EXP series.

Ok, brake bias is roughly back in-check. Didn't have enough time to hit the bracket with another coat of gun bluing this morning and get it full-on black, I see in this pic I could've rounded those corners better, and I'd like to find different upper hardware, but it works. My brakes are grabbing evenly.

Oddly, my front rotors are singing like a MF'er when I back out in the morning, it's grown more pronounced since initial lift. I'm sure it's something tied to me popping off the calipers, but I'm seeing nothing obvious with anything.

Hey y’all. Been watching the leaf spring talk and was wondering if anyone has tried the single leaf AAL from Toytec? Looking at a combo of the non HD ATS springs (straight oem replacement) with the toytec single leaf. I know I need to just get new leaf springs, but I’m trying to keep a smoothish ride, not spend a ton of money, get 1” ish of lift, and I rarely load the truck down like a lot of y’all. I’m worried those ATS HDs are too HD for me and are going to give me too much lift.

I'm having trouble finding the post but one member went with Toytech's AAL and had better luck. I don't think it was the single leaf option though.

You could always start with the non HD leaf packs and see how you like it. I doubt a single leaf from Toytech is worth the money and hassle.
