Anyone in the Spring, Conroe area have a reliable shop for a wheel alignment? Had my last one done about a year back but not sure if it was actually adjusted. The outer part of tire is wearing unevenly.

Is ceramic worth it? I have two brand new cars in my garage and I am contemplating the ceramic route. For sure I want to do it for this new Tundra as it will be parked outside all the time.
And how much did the ceramic job run you?

 

Anybody knows a good installer shop for some Katzkin leather seat covers in Houston or surroundings?

 

There is a place downtown,, a tire shop of all places but I do not remember the name?? He had a couple guys in there that did a nice job on just that. If I remember the name I will put it in here.

 

My guy Victor was awesome!! He doesn't speak much English but he came to my house and did my entire truck in under 3 hours and it looked factory. He does it for the dealerships but also does it on the side. Charged me $150 for install (this was probably 2 years ago, not sure about current pricing). Bought my Katzkins off ebay. He just repaired some seats in my friends land cruiser last week, and recovered his center console, it also came out great.

Not sure, he was mobile and at the time our house was around beltway 8 and i10 on the west side. Nice guy though, reach out to him and ask!

 

What tires are you running and are you happy with them after 20k. Wet? Dry? Dirt? Performance

thought I ask here since anyone on this post would see same weather and road conditions

 

I'm running BFGoodrich Trail-Terrain T/A tires and very happy with them. Only about 10k on mine but they were recommended by someone with 30k on his, and still low noise with good performance.

The guy who recommended them to me said he didn't think the wet performance was bad, but maybe a little less traction than some. My experience has been the opposite, my wet traction is better with them than before. Actually my gas mileage is slightly improved too.

My truck is only RWD but I've worked in some construction areas and driven on dirt with great traction as well. They grip wherever I've driven them, they're quiet and they ride nice. Pretty much everything I wanted.

Oh and they were a good deal at Costco too!
